Works Great!
While working from home we've had to shred a number of things, and this couldn't be more convenient. Easy to use (my 3 year old does it, with supervision), easy cuts 10 sheets (although a little slowly). The machine is a little heavy, but it gets the job done easily and doesn't burn out to quickly. The bin had to be emptied after about 400 pages of shredding!

It's ok to use
In my opinion, this pen + Gear shredded is worth 3.5 star review because of its pros are less than cons. About the pros, I like the wheels make it easy to move around. The shredder is very easy to set up, around 1 to 2 minutes. Basically I just need to attach the wheels, wastebasket and shredder top together. About the cons, the first thing I don't like is the wastebasket made from cheap and thin plastic. When I tried to open it at the first time, it bended and broke on the top! The shredder throat is designed incliningly makes it harder to insert paper. As it advertised, the shredder can do cross cut 10 sheets but it makes noise at 8 pieces of paper. Besides that, when the wastebasket is full, you open it up and all the small pieces of paper attached to the shredder throat will scatter everywhere on the floor. It definitely takes more time to sweep. With all the pros and cons, I guess this shredder is only suitable for a limited family use.

    Great paper shredder for a beginner.
    The 10 Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder was easy to put together, very simple, all you have to do is attach the waste bin to the shredder cabinet and voila, you're done. It recommends no more than 10 sheets inserted at one time. I had no problem with the machine inserting this amount. I love that you can have the shredder powered on to the auto position and as soon as you insert the paper, the machine kicks into action. As soon as the sheets you've inserted are complete, the machine automatically deactivates. It has three other settings also, such as off, forward and reverse. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a lot of shredding to do at one time or someone who has the time to sit and shred if they have a lot of papers.

    Easy to assemble and easy to use, go for it!
    First of all it was when it arrived, the outer box was a lil damage but it was really well packed, so inside everything was perfect; anyway this is not my first shredder and I find this one to be my favorite, it has some good specs to consider: -The shredder drawer detaches it is independent from the machine, which I find awesome because with other brand designs you have to take the head or motor out to get the bin free in order to trash the paper (the motor usually is the heaviest part) so I find this design perfect.✅ -The wheels helps to move it around to clean, I have wooden floor and didn't make any scratch, another ✅ -Shreds 10 pages ✅ -Shreds cards ✅ -Big storage drawer ✅ -Didn't need the manual to assemble it's pretty easy (but it comes with one no worries) The only CON for me it is that is only 120v. So if you are looking for a shredder this one is a very good option.

    Best shredder on the market
    This is a fantastic shredder.. The shredder is pretty large and very durable as I've been shredding many things with it. It has the ability to shred as many as ten pieces of paper. It also has the ability to shred up to one credit card which is very impressive. The wheels on the shredder provide great mobile access when I need to move it from place to place. The shredder operates in forward motion and also in reverse motion. The reverse motion is used to rectify a paper jam which is very necessary when I am shredding a great amount of paper. This shredder also cross cuts which is a great feature to have when you want to ensure the security of your shredded documents. Automatic position allows the shredder to start automatically as soon as you insert paper that needs to be shredded. The shredder has a great safety feature. It will not operate when the bin is not secured in place. There is no safety feature for children so you need to keep your children away from it. Overall, I highly recommend this pen and gear 10-sheet cross-cut shredder model c206-C. It has everything that you would expect in a high quality shredder.

    I am really impressedI with my pen and Gear 10 Sheet shredder. It cuts paper like it's Butter. I really put this little shredder To the text up to 10 sheets of paper And the motor didn't lag anymore Than any other shredder that I've Used. It cut through small staples Without difficulty now I can safely Dispose of my important documents And even credit cards now I just leave It to my 10 sheet pen and Gear To get the job done. No more Tearing or using scissors to do The job it even comes with a Power on heat indicator. Up to 3 Minute continuous run time I also noticed that if the bin is Not closed properly the shredder Will not turn on. I highly reccomend PEN and GEAR 10 page shredder

    Shredding with ease
    This cross-cut shredder provides peace of mind when it comes to the disposal of confidential documents. It was extremely easy to setup and the wheels provide added mobility. It shredded our documents and credit cards with speed and ease. It's a but noisy, especially when shredding credit cards, but that's to be expected from the power it puts out. I really like that there is an "overheat" alert to protect the motor and the 4-gallon bin slides in and out fairly easily for disposal. Overall I am extremely pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

    Quality Shredder!
    I have been using this shredder a lot more than I thought I would. I get a lot of medical letters, insurance letters and stuff like that with a lot of our family's information and it usually just ends up in a pile waiting for my to cut it up before throwing it in the recycle bin. I have been using this shredder for a week and it has taken an annoying burden away from me. I hate having to use scissors to cut up our stuff. I also noticed it has a card slot to shred credit cards or any type of card with your info. It's small enough it fits under my desk at home. I noticed it shreds the papers into fours and not just long shreds of paper. Its really good quality because even though its small it feels sturdy and its super easy to set up. I noticed one of its features is when the paper trash drawer is left open it wont automatically start shredding until you close it. Very cool safety feature! Honestly I think its so cool Im excited to have it part of our little home office!
