How hard is it to count to 12?
I bought these as a donation to the local school. Ordered 12; received 10

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/13/2023Coloured pencilsThe colors are true. I bought it for my third grade. It is very good for drawing an outline. It may lightly blend but better for sharp outline. So far good.F

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/10/2022Vibrant colors but hard to blend & shadeI got these for my daughter who draws a lot. We both liked how vibrant the colors are. When we opened the box we noticed that the color examples on the box lid did not match the shade of the actual pencils. These didn't shade/blend well either like we had hoped. We both would recommend them as the colors were pretty and vibrant and you get a good variety of colors.EllaW

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/02/2022P& G Color PencilsNice set of 12 color pencils. Pencils glide easily across paper. Good for bible Journaling or light coloring. Colors are not deep unless you apply a fair amount of pressure or two or three passes over paper. Easy to sharpen as long but seem to wear down pretty quickly. That may have been due to multiple passes to darken certain colors. I would prefer not to have a white pencil but another color instead. Good economical set.ReaderWoman

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/01/2022Nice set of colored pencilsThis is a very nice set of colored pencils from Pen+Gear, which comes pre-sharpened, and includes all the basic colors you should need. Whether you're using them with your kids for arts & crafts, sending them in the backpack to school, or using them in your own line of work, this box should pretty much cover what you're looking for. You've got all the basic colors of the rainbow plus white, rose(pink), and black, as well as the same intermediate blue shades. They sharpen easily and should last a good while!Nicholas

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/01/2022Classic colors, average vibrancyThis 12 pc set by Pen & Gear has all the basic colors of a classic set. The tips are pre-sharpened, however I suggest you also get a small manual sharpener, bcz 4 of the 12 tips snapped the 1st time they touched the Paper. They sharpen easily & with just 2 twists. The vibrancy of the colors is average, adequate, similar to others of it's kind. It's a good addition to our large collection of many different colored pencil brands.RogueGrandmaKS

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/29/2022Good qualityWe own quite a few of penning gear products. I've been pleased with their line of stationary items. They're affordable and the quality is just as good as their competitors. These are a good quality coloring pencil. If you're looking to do some coloring or any activity that has small details, I would recommend this brand. You get 12 different colors. They're very basic. A good item for your school supply list.JeMoonB

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/26/2022Great for coloringThe Pen +Gear 12CT Color Pencils work as expected. I like crayons but my kids tend to use color crayons more often. My older son likes to use these crayons for shading on some of his drawings. He likes that the color pencils offer a smoother blend than that of crayons. My younger son just likes to use anything to color as long as they mark dark. Some cheaper brands don't mark on paper as dark.RCROSS
