I did the research for you.
As someone who has been one to believe that if it's being sold it must be fine. I've had to find out the hard way that these fish need way more than this will give or tell you. So you're going to need a 4-5gal MINIMUM tank, then you will need a small heater- you pick these based on size of aquarium. After that you will need the *correct* filter for a betta- these will rarely be included in a kit. If you want your fish to actually survive, you need both the heater and filter. Then you may add pretty plants, bettas love resting on leaves or roots of the plant- which is why this is advertised this way. Don't forget that bettas are intelligent fish

This is a vase, not a fish tank.
This is animal abuse. its a perfectly fine vase for only a plant, but there is absolutely no fish spiecies that would be ok in this living condition. The fish advertised, a betta, requires a minimum of 2.5 gallons, a heater set to 80 degrees and has a very specialized carnivorous diet and planted environment. This company needs to stop perpetuating incorrect information and stop advertising animal abuse.

    Animal abuse
Bettas have a 10 gallon minimum or they'll get sick and die. Need a filter. And a heater. These products are straight animal abuse :/

Too small for a betta to thrive
A betta fish needs to live in a minimum of a 5 gallon aquarium tank with a heater gor ideal wayer temperature and a filter to keep the water clean and habitable. Betta fish are living, sentient beings that deserve better than this.

    dont do it
not only is it too small for any fish, adding the plant to the top will actually kill your fish. plants will pull oxygen from the water and your fish will suffocate. this gets advertised as betta friendly and they can eat the roots....WRONG! They still need food, oxygen, heaters and much more space. the only reason they still sell these is because uneducated people keep buying them. this should only be used for hydroponic gardening. Mainly, keep the fish out of it.

    It's inhumane.
These are absolutely WAY too small for ANY fish. You should only keep sea monkeys in something this small. Betas (and other small fish similar to size) are only meant to live in small areas of water for a short period of time for survival purposes and transporting. NOT PERMANENTLY. It's inhumane. The smallest tank a beta should ever be forced to permanently live in is a 2 and a half gallon tank. They are your pet, not a shelf decoration. They are also sentient beings. Would you confine your cat or dog to live in a small kennel permanently where it can only turn in circles with zero enrichment? That's why betas die so fast, because people are uneducated and store keep selling crap like this.

    It looks Beautiful !
Quality not so good, the plant tray is quite challenging to put a live plants on it!But i was able to group them together and happy with the outcome using my own small rocks and peebles. The rocks that goes with it are dirty and contaminated my fish water.
