So glad I have these!
I love our diaper genie and these refills! Before getting in to all the reasons why, I would like to add that I received Diaper Genie Refills to review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My favorite things about the bags are that they hold a lot of diapers and most importantly, I cannot smell the dirty diapers! My daughter's favorite spot in our house is her nursery, so we spend a lot of time in there! The bags are thick, hold a lot of diapers, and I like that I am not having to constantly change them. It is easy to refill by just cutting the bag, pulling it down to tie a knot in the bottom for another bag, and the refill itself lasts a while! I also love that the bag is not see through, so when our garbage bin is overflowing on trash day, it doesn't show all our dirty diapers! With the pandemic happening, I was the pregnant lady who didn't leave her house for fear of the virus and now I very seldom do. Protecting my girl is my top priority, so I like that the bags themselves have the anti-microbial to protect against germs! I am happy with these bags and recommend these to all my mom friends!

Diaper Genie Refill Review
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the diaper genie refill. I was impressed with the scented refill and the odor blocking capabilities. I have used diaper pails that release a strong odor when opened so this feature is important to me. Any product that helps protect from germs is important to me , especially as a mom. This would be a factor I would consider when comparing different diaper pail refills, if it was offered. I felt indifferent about the bag being opaque so you can not see through it. When I change the bag it is going straight in the garbage can anyway. The continuous refills is very useful. It gives me the capability to change the bag at anytime.

    No smells!
    I had been using the Genie brand for years, ever since I had cats years ago and bought a Litter Genie to use with them, so I was super pleased to have the opportunity to receive a special anti-microbial diaper pail refill for the Diaper Genie to try out thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Diaper Genie happens to be 1 of 3 diaper pails that we have in our house. The first we received from our registry, a brand suggested by a friend with 4 kids and an in home daycare. I thought this would be the ultimate diaper pail, so we put it in the bedroom where we are still room sharing with our 5 month old daughter. Well, around month 3.5 that pail started to release the poopy diaper smells into the air whenever we opened it. I think the smells leached into the plastic interior of the pail. So we got a 2nd one to replace it, but there were so many diapers in general, and we were emptying the trash bags so frequently that I decided to keep the taller “stinky” bin to put just wet diapers in, and use the new, shorter bin for the poopy diapers. That works well enough for our downstairs bedroom (although I've been smelling smells after putting the poopy diapers in lately...), but we also have another changing table upstairs, in the living room next to our dining room and kitchen. This is where it's REALLY important that there aren't gross smells hanging around, since these are the areas we spend the most time in, and eat in! Well, so far, so wonderful with this new Diaper Genie refill. We haven't had one smell leach out in the couple of weeks that we've been using the refill. We also feel pretty great about the anti-microbial aspect, being that it's in our kitchen, to help protect from germs. It's nice that the liners are opaque so you don't have to become reacquainted with old blowout diapers when you get to the point of changing out a full section of liner. I've also always loved that the diaper Genie brand liners last a long time so that you don't have to keep getting more bags to put in like with regular pails, and so far we haven't even had to change the current length of liner that's in the genie, it holds so many diapers. The only issue that I've had so far was with the initial installation of the liner. The instructions weren't clear enough for me to be able to tell which side (inside or outside) to pull the liner out from to start it, and I almost pulled out way too much in my attempt to pull from both sides to figure out where the end started. Other than that, I'd definitely look forward to getting these liners again, especially if they were well priced to compare with the cost of using regular trash bags with another diaper pail (not sure the lack of smell and anti-microbial feature would be enough for my husband to want to spend the extra money).

    No smells here!
    Our son is 14 months, and in the first year of the diaper genie didn't smell at all using generic refills in the pail. The last couple months WOW! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with the diaper genie max odor refill. I was hesitant at first and while opening the refill the plastic didn't all come off perfectly so I was thinking this is a great start. Once using the refill I think the bags have contained the odor in the bottom nicely, however when you open the top to put a new stinky diaper in it still smells, hence the 4 stars, I do not think these bags have anything to do with that. When removing when full it was nice to not see all the dirty diapers due to the seven layers and having the continuous refill is nice tie a knot and keep going. They state they are anti-microbial and kill germs, but I do not see the difference with it.

    Overall good liners
    These are the first opaque liners I have ever used. I love that I don't have to see the mess when I'm cleaning the pail. I still feel as though there is a slight odor even with these thicker liners. This may be unavoidable just due to the nature of the game. Overall I am pleased with these over others I have tried in the past. I received these liners from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest feedback.

    No Odors Here!
    The Diaper Genie Refills really are the best out there in my opinion. The bags really work well in keeping odors out and my baby's nursery not smelling like dirty diapers. These refills have 7 layers and a built in antimicrobial which inhibits bacteria growth on the film. It gives me some peace of mind knowing that its not only doing the job of preventing odors in her nursery but germs as well. I personally like that the bags are unscented as well. Its not adding a smell to your baby's room but rather keeping the odor away. These are very sturdy as well when changing them out. You can tell the quality of them and we have never had a tear when using these. A plus is that when changing the bags out, you cant see the diapers in there because of the opaque color. I really like this feature because its never fun to have to see that mess after holding in so many diapers for so long. I also feel that this holds a considerable amount of diapers and doesn't need to be changed as often. Of course, the bigger the diaper your baby is in, the less it holds, but that is understandable. I still felt that it held a lot which prevented me from having to change it often. The continuous refill is super handy so you are not wasting an entire bag when ready to change it. In addition, when the refills are almost out there is a black indicator line that lets you know which is very useful. My baby's room has never had an odor thanks to the Diaper Genie refills! There is a reason I have used them for all 3 of my kids and will continue to do so! Overall, I would highly recommend!     Convenient for cloth diapering, too!
    When we were gifted the Diaper Genie Pail, we were pretty excited to try it out, because the canvas bag we'd tried out for our cloth diapers simply didn't pass the smell or convenience tests. I'm happy to report that the Diaper Genie liner helps us with both. Even though we cloth diaper, the liner is a champ. It holds about 1-1 1/2 days worth of diapers and their contents: 12 diapers; a half dozen prefolds; 9 hemp cotton inserts; a half dozen microfiber and hemp inserts; a few FSTs; and nearly twenty cloth wipes. While we don't get the convenience of only once-weekly change outs as one might with disposables, we can't go for more than 2 days without washing cloth, so it works out for us. As far as smell is concerned— I know that the pail wasn't closed properly when I can smell the diapers, because these liners do a great job of containing odor! Even when it's time to take out the bag, and travel to the laundry, I don't smell them until I dump the diapers into the washing machine. We placed our Genie next to toilet, since we have to deal with solids nowadays. We swish the diaper around in the bowl to knock some of the solids off, then place them in the bag. I also press down on the diapers (from the outside of the bag) to make as much room as possible for more diapers, and I have been so impressed with how much weight and pressure these bags can handle. The Diaper Genie liner is effective at masking odors, holding plenty of material, and at making life so much more convenient for our cloth diapering family, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone other family using cloth or disposables. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try out this product!

    Love My Diaper Genie
    I received a diaper genie refill as part of the stellar product review panel. As a mom of 3 under 5, I could not live without my diaper genie! The bags are a little tricky to use, but once you figure it out it's worth it to block odors and prevent the spread of germs. The way diaper genie is designed once you put the diaper inside it's out of sight (these liners are even opaque so when you empty the can you won't see it again!) and you won't smell it anymore.

    Diaper Genie Refill New!!
    I received the diaper genie refill for free through the Stellar testing panel for my honest review!! Theses new diaper genie refills with a liner that has anti-microbial has really helped lessen the diaper pail smell and make me feel like there are less germs coming from the pail. It's not 100% but definitely better then the original ones. Added plus the bag is no longer see through so you want have to see all the diapers when throwing them out. The pail hold a ton of diapers!!

    Blocks Odors!
    These diaper liners help block odors and keep my nursery smelling clean and fresh. I love that these liners have an anti-microbial to help protect from germs. These days, that matters a lot. Also like the fact that the bags are opaque so you can't see the diapers when changing out the diaper pail. Feels less gross taking it out to the garbage can outside. Was surprised about how much the bag can hold. My husband and I were laughing and saying that it shouldn't be able to hold so many diapers. Finally, the continuous refill is incredibly useful. It makes everything so much easier and as a mom of 2 under 2, I really appreciate that. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!
