Keep the Dirty Diaper Smell Contained.
Very Nice and keeps the smell in the bucket. We actually have at least one at every house. Summer house Nana's house and 2 at Mom and Dad's house. One upstairs and one downstairs a must have item and very reasonably priced

Very Poorly Built
This Diaper Genie is the most flimsy, poorly designed baby product I own. I have had Diaper Genies in the past for all my kids and I don't remember having this much trouble before. It literally falls apart with the slightest pressure. There's no hardware that keeps it together. There's a plastic piece in back that very easily becomes dislodged and when it does the pedal in front doesn't work...I could go on but I don't have time right now. Just know that quality control is non existent at this company apparently.

    Great product, just has a plastic lid which broke
    We have had this product for a little over a year and think it is amazing. The lid snapped at the connection and we are unable to find a replament part.

    A must have
    No more smelly room or trash can. Very easy to load and unload. This is a must have for any mother to be, you won't regret it. Get extra carbon filters and refills.

    Fell apart in less than 6 months
    This diaper Genie fell apart in less than 6 months. My old diaper Genie lasted almost a decade, how could one make something so much worse? Picture shows all the broken parts. We were able to "repair" a few times and now it is no longer salvageable

    Incontinence undies no longer a problem
    This is a great way to collect and dispose of incontinent underwear. I got one for my MIL. There is no odor in the room at all. Foot pedal makes opening the lid easy. If youve used a Litter Genie for cats, its very similar to that.

    It just broke
    I bought this about a month and a half ago and it was working great but then one day the top just stopped closing.... I have looked and don't see anything out of place . The top just sits open which really defeats the purpose of this products

    Do not recommend
    The product arrived used and smelling horrible. Also, the latch inside would not properly open and close. Probably the reason it was returned in the first place. It does not work. Very bulky and takes up way too much space.

    Should've listened to the other one star reviews
    My first daughter was born in 2019 and we had gotten a diaper genie at a baby shower. It worked pretty well for a few months and then the mechanism that held the door in place broke. Everything else worked so we just dealt with it. Now my daughter is over a year old and the part of the genie that keeps the diaper smell locked in stopped working and we have another baby girl on the way so I decided to get a replacement. I figured what are the odds a second diaper genie would fail? I bought a new one, took it out of the box, removed the tape on the lid only to find out the lid won't completely close. RIGHT OUT OF THE DANG BOX and it's already broken. Don't waste your time on this one parents, I'm going to be switching over to a munchkin foot step diaper pail because then I won't have wasted all my bag refills at least.

    Do NOT buy!
    Worst diaper genie ever! There is a piece that keeps falling out when I need to open it to empty and change the bags! It is in the back of the pail and it connects it together to be able to make it open, when you put your foot on the front. So, now it will not open and it's completely useless! I'm SO aggravated and I want to just throw it out! I'm unsure if it's too late to return as it didn't do this until a week or 2 of me receiving it! I don't understand why, but I'm super irritated.
