Worth to pay for assembly! Crew came as scheduled!
My assembly service was scheduled for Sunday 11am but I rescheduled them to come few days later. Using the Handy app was very easy and convenient for rescheduling. Then my basketball hoop from Walmart delivery came sooner than expected. So on Friday, I reschedule the assembly crew to come in 2 days on Sunday. Even though it was almost like a last min asking for assembly, but they did came as scheduled! On Sunday, Jacub R. arrived early (I'm totally good with that) and started to work on assembling right away. He was professional, friendly and respectful! Then Brian came on time, and they both finished the assembly. It would probably take me and my husband many hours and exhaustion to assemble this and prob won't even built it right. So glad I pay for assembly and saved the hassles!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Horrible Experience, the guy who showed up couldn't build the basketball hoop, he promised to show up the next morning to do it and stood me up. He complained that handy only gave him $30 for the build when I paid $100 and asked me to pay him cash, glad I didn't pay him because he didn't even build it! I'm very disappointed

    Great service
    I could not have done this at all. Two gentlemen showed up before they were supposed to and assembled my hoop in less time than was agreed upon. I wish I could have tipped them for such a great job but I did not have any cash. I will Definitely use again. They get the highest rating on my scale.

    Took off work twice to accommodate the scheduled assembly, was notified last minute both times that it would be rescheduled, cost me hundreds of dollars in pay. Can't talk to a real person, only get automated responses....paid 99.99 for assembly....between lost wages and the assembly fee, I now have lost more tgan the price of the basketball goal itself, not to mention disappointed kids...if this is the the best they have to offer then they should just not offer their service at all...

    Do Not Use Handy Service
    Worst service I have ever had the misfortune of purchasing. The couple who came out was nice and professional, but the basketball goal was very loose and not put together well. I am also missing two pieces from the system that they didn't install. I had to rework the entire system and am still out the purchase price.

    Not happy at all.Still totally disappointed.
    My kids basketball goal was delivered on March 22,2021.And in two more days will be sitting in the box for a month.I would give 0 stars if I could. After several cancelations my tolerance level ended up decreasing in the process. Everytime the day before came and my kids were excited for the day the basketball goal would be assembled I would received an text message or email rescheduling the date.And know that I received them at 7pm or 10 pm at night. So if I didn't see these messages at a normal bedtime for anyone. Would be very even more upsetting. So on the third cancelation they had an automatic refund in process. I was furious. The box with the basketball goal is still currently sitting in my garage collecting dust.Thanks for nothing handyman service. This was a total disappointment. Sends like this company and workers are unprofessional and don't commit to their job assignments. They also don't take people's time and feelings in consideration. I left my days open for those scheduled times.My children are still very disappointed.

    Received a message saying they will be 30 mins late...2hrs later still no show call the 1800 number I'm told there is no movement on the GPS to show where they are so I can schedule for 2 days for now with a 25 dollar gift card wow this is so unprofessional of them not happy at all I paid for this service a week ago plenty enough time for them to have everything in order I want my full refund and I identity want or will not use this service again

    No show multiple times
    If there was less than 1 star option, I would give it. We bought the hoop and got an email and text confirmation to set up. Rescheduled to the next day. Then, again rescheduled. On the 3rd time they cancelled 15 minutes before they were supposed to arrive. I had already left work early to meet them. 3 more reschedules after this, for a total of 6 over 3 weeks time. The final notice came tonight, and they emailed me a cancellation of service because they don't have handyman available in my area. Really, I couldn't have been notified about that 3 weeks ago. Terrible customer service.

    Would not recommend this service.
    I was not impressed with the handy service. They rescheduled twice on me the day of after I had already made arrangements to be off work. Only one of the handyman came and the other was a no show so the one woman was stuck outside with no help and had to work into the dark because it took so long. Not dependable service.
