This TV has great picture quality
Got this TV to replace an older 1080P TV I've had since 2013. It was time to go 4K, and this looked like a good choice. However there is one negative that isn't the fault of the TV. Rather a bit of a bungle on the manufacturers part. They added the protection to the plastic frame so you can remove the TV from it's box. And move it into position without worry of scuffs, and scratching. But, on top of that they put tape on top of that, and it was also on the screen membrane. Not, good. You need to be very careful removing this tape from the TV or you could potentially damage the screen itself. I was quite nervous as you could see the screen reacting to the tape pulling at the screens protective layer. If you rip to fast you could damage the unit. So caution is advised, hopefully they will see this error, and remedy the issue. I see no sign of damage from pulling it off thankfully. But, all that aside this TV has beautiful picture quality. That little issue does not detract from the fact that it's a good TV. The only thing I wish it had was an RCA output for surround. It does have a headphone jack that could be utilized for a surround unit, but it will need a 3.5mm to RCA adapter to use it with a surround unit that still utilizes those. I have gone all through the settings, and there are a lot of ways to fine tune the picture to your liking, and also has easy presets for convenience. This TV has Game mode for quicker response times for high frame rate game consoles. Don't worry if your console says HDR is unavailable as the game mode acts as HDR mode. The sound quality from the speakers is okay, you also have plenty of adjustment to the sound you are looking for with a preset EQ. Or, simply set the tone yourself. It has a really nice contrast making for extremely vibrant colors. So, all in all for the money this is a really good TV for gaming, general TV, and movie use. With ROKU built in you have tons of streaming TV, and movie services in one spot. Also if your cable provider has free streaming services for some stations like Comedy central as an example. Sign into the ROKU service with your providers credentials provided to you, and you can stream all they have on offer free.

Bought it during the ‘21 Black Friday sale and it came with a huge dent in the back. The box seemed unscathed so the manufacturer caused the damage maybe? Disappointed because now they are sold out

    Felt cheaply made, with the legs/base very skinny and wobbly. When I turned on the screen, the TV was obvious damaged as there was no picture but shattered streaks everywhere. Returned for full refund and bought a Samsung with similar specs for $50 more that is a lot more impressive.

    Defective Right Out of the Box
    If I could give negative stars I would rank this product a -5; not so much for the product itself but more for the crappy customer service from RCA. When hooking up TV for the first time, the image was similar to broken glass. I was just barely pass Walmart's 30 day return window (it was day 35), so they referred me to RCA. Walmart rep said TV was shipped from an RCA warehouse and RCA selected the carrier, and to make sure I told RCA that. I provided RCA the photos and paperwork they required only to have RCA claim that it was physical damage and, therefore, voided the warranty. There is NO physical damage on the TV whatsoever. The protective film was never even removed from the TV. Clearly, this was a TV damaged in shipment (probably from severe impact of some kind) but RCA didn't want to take responsibility. So, I'm out $300 because RCA is a crappy company that doesn't stand behind their products and shipment of those products!!!!!!

    defective-will update after return attempt
    I will come back to my review later based on how this all works out and adjust it accordingly. I got the 43 inch Roku TV during the prime Day sale. I got a good deal on it but when I got it I had to wait until my friends could mount it for me so when we are able to get it all hooked up and everything and turned on at first I was in love. beautiful picture nice sound but it had a little.. I don't know like an imperfection where it looked like a white dot on the screen. but I didn't really notice it too much and I let it go because unless you touch the screen where it was at it really wasn't noticeable. but then the TV started giving me problems with hanging up in different various areas of the menu and you would have to shut the TV off and restart it again to get it to become responsive. and then today it just won't do anything there's colored lines all over the screen and it won't do anything. I'm disheartened because I had waited so long to finally replace my TV that went out a couple of years ago and I didn't even get to enjoy this one. so depending on how much hassle it ends up being to get it replaced, I will adjust my review accordingly. the TV itself I thought was beautiful.

    I'm loving this RCA 43" Smart Roku TV! It arrived in 2 days, it was extremely easy to set-up, the picture is fantastic, and it sounds amazing! I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely recommend this TV.

    Review of 43 inch Roku TV. This TV is great so far. It was easy to set up. I love that I can have all my apps like Hulu and Netflix right on the home screen. Set up was easy to understand and the menu was easy to navigate. Also lots of free channels. You can download the Roku app on your phone to use your phone as a remote. I would recommend this TV. Overall five out of five stars.
