Happy purchase
So far so good. I reached out to people asking their thoughts in what one I should buy my son. So many mixed reviews. Very hard to decided what's real or not. Found out my sons cousin has this same one for two years now and he rides his pretty hard. So i decided to go with this one. Been a couple weeks now and his friends have been riding it too. Still going. And doing well. Happy purchase this far!

Dies after 4 months
We bought this for our 10 year old and after 4 months it died. We tried to replace the batteries (another $65) and it still didn't work. The warranty only lasts 3 months so we were out our money. We thought it might be a fluke and bought the exact same one again and 2ND ONE DIED TOO!!! (This time lasted 5 months after making her store inside, charge carefully and use every 2 weeks.)
**Buy only if you need for one summer!***

Probably longer but we haven't had the chance to keep going until the battery dies. It can go pretty fast for a kid. 15-18 km/h. Easy to charge. I just wish the bottom wasn't quite as bulky. Under the scooter is the battery and motor incased in plastic, so it adds a bunch of bulk to the otherwise slim scooter. But still easy enough to transport, and bring in the house. Not great on loose gravel,or small stone. Needs a compacted dirt road, paved, concrete, or another hard flat surface. But overall this was a great buy!!!!!!Tiffanynl

I think it just made it a bit slower which was fine. The throttle was different than others she had used which were push button. I like the hand brakes but do wish it also had a back foot break like regular scooters. She loves it.Aqua E

However, I did have a look at it and it seems to be of great quality. We have owned another Razor electric scooter and it was great until we lost it to water damage. If I had purchased it for a child,I would be livid. It literally goes from 3mph to 11 mph,no in between. If you're buying it for a small child,it is extremely important that they wear safety gear. I actually don't recommend this model for any child.Shari

It has enough power,but not to fast and my son and daughter love this scooter. It seems to be built sturdy not to mention my son says his looks cooler than his friends who have a different brands and his friends say his scooter goes much faster than the ones they have. The battery life is about 40 min non stop. Only down side it is doesn't handle well slight inclines. It works great on flat surfaces the best.Trish

The base is easy to stand and balance on. The turning ratio is small so you have to allow for a little more space to turn around in. The battery is a 12 hour charge with a one hour continuous run. It is easy to learn how to ride. No complaints.Mom2
