Pairing Wal-Mart and Sony is a risk worth taking; the tv looks fantastic, easy to program and everything works as designed. The one concern I hsave is how it was delivered. Yes, it had been raining that Saturday and the box had been left standing on its side outside my door without even a knock. The entire edge of the box was wet, even soggy as if it had been set down on wet pavement or similar. Frightening to see but it turned out to be fine. I also purchased the 4 yr warranty as a precaution just in case as several other commenters have. Overall, 5 stars, Wal-Mart is super responsive and helpful. Great experience.

The 'refurbisher' missed a fairly obvious problem.
I purchased this item 2 times, with 2 different outcomes. The first unit delivered was packaged in a non-Sony box, so from that I presume it was likely a return. The unit was clean and undamaged, and still had the energy star sticker on it. Unfortunately, when it was powered up there was a problem with the image where there was a 1/4 to 1/2 inch vertical space on the left side of the screen where the TV picture should have appeared, but it only showed fuzzy grey static; the right side of the picture was cut off. The picture alignment adjustments of the TV could not make it go away. I had to return the unit. I am not sure why this obvious problem was not spotted during the 'refurbishment' process. Other than that issue, the product itself seemed very nice and at a good price, so I ordered a second unit hoping for better luck; the second unit was good so I am reviewing it separately.

    Its a Sony...best Motion in the business... 4K ultra HDR. By no means perfect but price to performance and in general Vibrance and clarity of picture for its class is outstanding... without a direct side-by-side comparison just sitting in your home it looks better than real life...in the gaming Arena which is why I bought the TV more than adequate.No VRR or 120hz but honestly Unless thats your specific intent 4K at 120Hz Isnisnt future proof hype but possibly a little hyperbolic.super clean

    Wonderful merge of Features and picture
    The picture is great; great depth and color with the fast refresh rate. There are a lot of features; which can be a bit overwhelming, but you will ind them useful if you take the time to learn them all.

    Worst experience ever...
    Just received my second unit and the screen is cracked again. I purchased my first one about a week ago and when I open the box the screen was damage on the top portion of The TV. I went in store to return the TV which the Walmart associate was giving me a hard time stating that the serial numbers did not match based on what was on the box. I explain to her that this was a refurbished model and if that could be a problem in regards to why they weren't matching. She disregarded what I had informed her but nonetheless they completed the return. I went ahead and ordered a second TV in hopes that it would come intact. Once I open the TV and placed I noticed that the screen was cracked even worse than the first one. Don't even waste your money trying to save a few dollars buying these refurbished units as they all Seem to be damage and I'm just wasting my time taking the units back to the store to return them. Will be looking for alternative stores to purchase this model from.

    TV is great! It came faster than I thought it would. Was a bit concerned with the appearance of the box. It looked like it went through a tough time! I was suppose to sign for this; However who ever delivered it just left it by my front door. I had to wait hours before I could see what the tv looked like as I couldn't get it up the few stairs alone. I was relieved to find the tv in one piece. It does have some slight damage on the right side of the screen frame. (I don't think it happened in transit to me. It probably happened when it was returned by its former owner. ) Luckily it is on the opposite side of the entry into the room. I don't know if I would have purchased this tv if I knew then what I know now....If there is a problem with it you need to get a RA number from the refurbishing company and then you need to pack it up. A box, packing material, postage, and insurance is on you. It would be going California. I live in Florida. So far so good. The tv has a great picture. I am very satisfied with my purchase.....as long as there are no problems in the warranty period.

    Works Great!
    Mine is a May 2019 manufactured unit delivered in an original box but they removed the Sony Owner's Manual before delivery. The box was penetrated on the screen side but none of the five penetrations reached the screen cover or scraped the screen. None of the screws on the back appear to have been turned. It does not appear to have been disassembled. All of the original stickers and packing material were intact. It looks like someone pulled this unit from a box, reset it to factory standards, and then reboxed it. Works great. I only wish the 65" model had been available.
