Simple Fun
My 3 year old loved this right out of the box. The parts are easy to manipulate and the saw "chopping" action is a huge hit for him while playing! The backpack and helmet are easy to put on and take off. My 5 year old was able to put it all together for my 3 year old when I was making dinner the other night. All in all, a great simple toy that both of my boys play with and occasionally fight over. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Not recommended for age 3 to 4
I do not recommend this toy for ages 3 to 4. When I first pulled it out of the package my 3 year old was excited about it. Ten minutes into play the back pack tool broke off making the weapon useless. My son lost all interest once the tool was broken and hasn't touched it since.     Sturdy, Fun and Great Colors!
    We have received the Fisher-Price Rescue Heroes Rocky Canon a few weeks ago and my kids have not stopped playing with it. The colorful armor is what got my kids attention. The toy comes as 3 piece: figurine, accessory weapon and helmet. As a mom with a 3 YO and 4 YO boys, I know what it's like to lose accessories to a figurine after a couple plays. However, what I love about this accessory (backpack with axe weapon) is that it slides on to the back of the figurine. The helmet attaches to the figurine's head very well. It's been a few weeks and we still have all the accessories attached to the figurine! Overall, a sturdy fun toy that both of my boys enjoy playing with.     My son loves it!
    My son received this toy through a rate and review program I am active in and he loves it! The toy comes in attractive packaging that allows you to see all the pieces that come with the toy and the quality of the toy itself. The action hero is made very well and stands up very well to the play of a toddler. The large feet enable the action hero to stand up on his own which can be very important to a young child. The backpack attachment with his swinging ax are easy for a child to put on but the helmet is a bit more difficult and may require some assistance. My son has played with his action hero every day since receiving it and I'm thrilled he has a good quality toy that can hold up to his playtime activity and I know is safe.     Vibrant Colors!
    The action figure has bright colors and came in safe colorful packaging as well. This would catch the eye of a child down any toy isle! It is labeled age appropriate and action figure was easily removed from package. Both my children ages 3 and 5 loved playing with him and the removable parts are large enough I wasn't concerned with chocking hazards. I like that there is information about YouTube and how to learn more about the Rescue Hero's show. We have enjoyed learning about all the hero's. Great examples for all children to look up to.     Great Starter Figurine!
    My 3 year old son was excited to open his Rocky Canyon hero figurine! I liked how well packaged the toy was, but still needed scissors to release the toy. A cool feature was that there was an easy release perforated "info card" for Rocky. My first impression of Rocky was how solid and well made the figurine felt. The arms, wrists, legs and head move well and stay in the position you set him. My son loved how big the feet and hands were, and immediately wanted to figure out Rocky's Axe tool. The Axe tool is connected to a backpack that slides and clicks onto Rocky's back which with practice my 3 year old figured out pretty quickly. The Axe has a bright red push lever that easily deploys the Axe in a chopping motion to my sons delight. I will say, for my son, the Axe was star of the toy and I find him playing with it solo more than Rocky himself. For the price point this figurine is a great buy!     My Son likes his new toy. Package was easy to open. Had a little bit of trouble getting the actual figure out but not bad. Seems very well made and my 5 y.o has no trouble using the accessories.
