Very nice upgrade from my 9 yr old ROKU
Have used a roku for over 9 years and finally needed to replace. Setup was relatively simple. Have a phone or tablet handy to set up your account if you don't already have one. You only get 7 minutes to set up your account, so do the basic stuff, you can add more channels, trial subscriptions, etc. later by just accessing your account. I have internet thru the cable company, so it's pretty good. You may find if you have to keep resetting the device and have a slower broadband connection, that it's the internet service you have, not necessarily the device that's the problem. Mine has worked consistently. My old one was crashing regularly, because it just wasn't up to the new technology. To figure out if it's your internet provider, try minimizing devices using WiFi and see if it makes a difference. Mine did not come w composite cables as advertised on the web, but did come with a high speed HDMI cable (it's short), power cord, batteries, remote, and set up sheet. I haven't tried using my headphones with the mobile app on my phone yet. I've been really happy w ROKU products. It ask for a credit card during setup, but it doesn't charge anything UNLESS you sign up for channels with a fee, or subscription services. You can set a PIN for extra protection so no one makes changes that you will have to pay for. In fact there is a guest setting which limits access to settings and account functions. Hope this helps.

Not happy at all had to go out and buy a HDMI cord one that was shipped was not working not sure who do I contact but I think somebody should not sure who do I contact but I think somebody should reimburse me once I got the new HDMI cord I love the item
