This does NOT sync with your TV. No volume or power control buttons. However , the Roku does work, and change channels. But you have to manually change the volume or power off. The remote doesn't even have those features. Disappointed they didn't mention this in the description.

    Works most of the time I get most of the channel but there's a lot of time if your Wi-Fi gets a little low it jumps off the show and just goes to the Roku screen which is pretty disappointing

    Uses 1.5A power adapter, not included
    Should come with power adapter. I ordered one and plugged it in to a 1.0A power adapter that my kids use to charge their devices and it wouldn't do anything but display roku and then blank tv screen over and over again so I sent it back for replacement. Spent an hour on this. The replacement did the same thing so I tried my samsung 1.55A phone charger in and it worked after 30 min more figuring. Maybe this is all the first one needed. The 1.0A is not enough needs a 1.5A. Hopefully this review helps someone with the same problem.

    its so much cheaper than cable. Does take a little time n effort to sign in n set up apps but once its set up, I love it!

    Ok but.... .
    Older model which didn't work for my new TV. I love Roku, this is the 3rd one I've purchased. The other two had same issue with my new TV. Wished I'd paid the extra $15 to get newest version.

    No Better Value For TV
    I am enjoying my ROKU which I added to my old TV. My new TV came with ROKU installed. The only difference I see is that the remote for the new TV has a volume control on it. This one I purchased does not so I need to hang onto my TV remote. I suppose if I'd bought the next one it would have had volume control. Aside from that, the programming is endless. I was able to cut my satellite provider

    I like the new remote and the fact that this newer model allowed me to replace my old rokus and my cable boxes since I can now stream my cable from them. Before I was paying $15 monthly to watch cable on 2 TV's but now I purchased 5 of these and have cable on all of my TV's
