Unbelievable technology - Lightyears Ahead!
Samsung's 8K TV is absolutely incredible! I witnessed it for the first time tonight & was honestly blown away. The image brightness, clarity and detail is unlike any I've ever seen. The ambient mode is like something you'd see in Star Trek or a sci-fi film. The tv is able to match its surroundings & cloak itself. It looks almost ghostly, translucent. What an incredible piece of technology. Great design aspect too, with frames in a variety of colors/materials. This is where interior design & technology meet. There's even an option to display custom artwork & photos. Space saving, beautiful & cutting edge. Simply wow! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Not Upgradeable to new HDMI 2.1 OneConnect
this came with inputs that will not accept outside 8k content. now that hdmi 2.1 is out samsung has a new oneconnect box that has them, only you can't use the box with this recent model. don't bother to buy this tv if you are waiting to watch native 8k. it will only up-convert inferior signals.

Great Picture Quality, Great Black Levels
i've had this tv for 11 months with no problems. i bought the 7.1.2 samsung/h-k soundbar with the tv. since the initial set-up, i have had no connectivity issues with the soundbar, and the sound is amazing. black levels are excellent, but not as good as oled--minor bleed-through at times, but when white screen credits scroll against a black background, the lack of bleed-through is impressive. i had to adjust the soundbar sync settings for my blu-ray player and fire cube. however, the syncing is off with directv. i chose this tv instead of an oled tv because i often have a static image displayed on the tv. the picture quality, motion flow, color and black levels are outstanding.

Replaced my ks9500 for this 75" tv. not a major upgrade I think I may have jumped the gun with 8k but overall this tv has some kool features, great sound, nice picture quality ambient mode and easy to assemble. If you already have a 4k tv just wait cause its awhile before we will get 8k content.

    Worried Early 8K adopter
After buying into the hype of future proofing my viewing pleasure in diving into 8k it appears that the more I peel back the onion the more I see that my 75Q900RB is not properly capable of displaying 8K content. This became prevalent to me when I noticed I could not watch 8K content via YouTube. After reading messages on the boards and content around the web I understand that the AV1 codec required to watch 8K content on YouTube isn't on my television. I don't even want to discuss the contrast modulation aspect of 15% my TV can display which further debunks that my TV is true 8K. I am almost starting to regret my purchase and wish I waited for the Q950t which is supposed to be real 8k. I am hoping Samsung can do the right thing to ensure us early adopters can properly enjoy 8k content by either replacing our sets or providing a viable update that can correct this mess.

    Fantastic picture
Just put this in as my flagship TV for watching movies. It displaced 65" Sony A8F OLED screen. It is paired with Panasonic DP-UB820 4K Blu-ray player and Denon 4400 receiver. Setup and connections were a breeze and everything works right from the get go. One Connect cord is a neat idea although I already had HDMI cord running through the wall and power outlet at the wall mount for the Sony, replaced HDMI with One Connect cord that carries power and all input signals. QLED looked great on store display but I was a bit anxious how its gonna perform in my living room with lights down. Sony OLED wasn't the brightest but deep blacks and great contrast produced excellent picture. Happy to report that QLED performs amazingly. Do not see a difference in deep blacks and better brightness and 8K resolution looks better than OLED in bright and dark room! Regional backlit control works wonders, watched several movies with extreme bright and dark portions of the scene. Opening scenes of The Angel Has Fallen where Buttler is in pitch black room looking through a small wall slit out onto sunny outside. His face is lit up to maximum but everything around him is deep dark! This is not the good old LED where there would be washed out grey and halos everywhere. Also love love the minimalistic remote that is slick and has few buttons only. Reminds me of AppleTV remote. TV turns on instantly. Only if it supported Dolby Vision I'd be in complete movie heaven, till then HDR10+ it is!

    Has good design and technology
The voice controls are not consistently good. They pick up conversations from tv programs. We still have not been able to load our pictures from our phone to the ambient feature. Also have not been able to program the tv to allow both the tv speakers and the receiver speakers to work simultaneously. In other words the advanced technology needs to be better explained and simplified. These are minor inconveniences, the tv display is very good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Great colors, very elegant design.
I received my Q900 last week as a replacement of a KS9000. The Q900 has beautiful colors and very deep blacks but it's not bright as the KS9000. For this reason it doesn't perform great as the KS9000 in bright rooms. Very disappointed with the remote. It came with the black plastic one and not with the beautiful silver alluminium one. The Flagship model should come with the alluminium remote. Overall satisfied enough with the product so far.
