Slow. Worthless.
This dispenses fuel VERY SLOWLY. I can probably dispense urine faster than this gas can dispenses fuel. The passage for fuel on the inside of the nozzle is about 3/8th of an inch in diameter (see picture). Not to mention there doesn't seem to be a viable mechanism for allowing air into the can to replace the outgoing fuel. I'm throwing this away and buying a better gas can.

    poor design
Very poor design. The opening wont even accomodate the diesel nozzle. It's too small. Don't purchase for diesel.

Does the job it was designed for. It's a container
The container it's self is great. The government spout is junk.

Inexpensive. difficult to use due safety devices
Diesel container was relatively expensive. Walmart delivered promptly to my home. They have too many safety devices on it. It is very difficult to open the can because of the safety mechanism. It is relatively easy to cut it off. Not so easy to remove the interior filter but it can be done. I have found a way around the safety mechanism to get the fuel back out of the jug. I have to use both hands which makes holding the jug at the same time impossible.

    Leaking Diesel Fuel Container
I picked up this container up at Walmart not thinking it would leak. Filled it up on the way home and noticed the container leaking in my pickup truck bed. Lost about a quart in a 15 minute drive. I have contacted Walmart store about the problem, they told me they don't return containers that have had fuel in it. My suggestion for future customers is to smell the container for previous use and to also fill container with water to check for leaks prior to filling with expensive fuel. I have several of these type of containers with fuel in them and never had a container leak.

Another Quality, Made in America product!
This is a well made and engineered Diesel container. Nice size that fits in back of pickup below the rail. The valve nose fits in the tank and allows you to hold the container by the bottom lip and push the valve with the other hand. Actually, I like it better than the old style convoluted plastic hose as the drain spout. The best part is, it is made in America!

    Regret the purchase
When filling, the diesel pump end is the same size as the fill hole. And it barely goes in. When pumping fuel there is no where for the displaced air in the can to go. So it sprays fuel all over the place. I had to hold the pump so that fuel would Pour into the can slowly. After trial and error I found the only way to transfer the fuel from the can to my tractor quickly was to hold the can upside-down. The air valve would not work in the normal pour position. I'm going to dill a hole in the top of the handle and use a rubber plug to seal it off while stored. At least that way I can get the fuel out nice and easy like my OLD cans.
