No release (or zero suction) feature! If your carpet is thin and light, you can use this vacuum cleaner. Look for one that has setting 0-Max suction power. "0" is very crucial.

    Clunky, Heavy
    This vacuum will have your back hurting. It's so bulky and not easy to navigate around. Forever knocking into walls and getting stuck on corners; you have to constantly yank it to follow you. The suction is okay, but nothing amazing.

    The vacuum has great suction. My only complaint is the floor piece doesn't have a better bar on it for carpet. other than that it is a great vacuum for the price.

    I am 70 and this is easy to use and isn't heavy. Fantastic suction, and I don't have to bend over when I use just the nozzle. Easy to clean. Love this vac!!!

    If you own a dog, this vaccum is for you.
    The price is great for this vaccum. The suction is powerful. Gets all the dirt my dog brings in. It is so easy to clean the canister. Dump the dirt and you can rinse it out in the sink. Looks brand new. I highly recommend this vaccum.

    cheap and weak
    Construction is cheap. Suction is weak and doesn't work well on carpet. It only seems to work on hard floors and then not as good as a Shark should work.

    Great suction but no motorized carpet beater. Prefer smoother sliding head for floors. This is clunky and noisy. Hose gets twisted and makes high pitched noise since suction is cut off. Disappointed with shark in this design.
