Felt like I slept on a cloud
I very skeptically purchased this mattress after having a having recently returned another brand (more expensive memory foam one) which was painful to say the least and trying out some of the higher end ones at the showrooms but not able to justify the cost. After reading the other reviews I didn't sleep on it the first night but couldn't wait a whole 48 hours, so slept on it after 24 hours. For the first time in years I woke up feeling well rested, I felt like I experienced deep sleep which I haven't for a long time now. It felt like I slept on a cloud of comfort. I have had great luck with a walmart purchase before too with memory foam and I am happy i chose walmart again! Highly recommend it and thank you to all the other reviewers who made me take a chance on Sleep Innovations!

BEWARE, Marley Gel Top Mattress!!!
This is the EXACT same mattress as the "Sleep Innovations Marley Gel Top Mattress" which I already have and it's too soft, not firm enough. I ordered this because I wanted a firmer NON GEL TOP. See my photos. I returned it.

    Fabulous sleep
    I was very skeptical about a getting a foam mattress that came in a box and rolled up. To begin with the box is very sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it. The mattress is wrapped in plastic on the outside and vacuum sealed on the inside of that. It was a two person job to get it out of the box and to carefully unwrap it. Once the mattress started getting air it immediately started airing up. I let it air for 24 hrs to make sure it was fully aired. It comes with a removable cover that can be washed. When I just pushed my hands on the top of the mattress it felt very plush and soft. I thought it was going to be too soft but after laying on it, it changed to a more firm feel. It wasn't too firm or too soft. It was just right. It was very comfortable to sleep on. It seemed to keep my back and hips aligned. I didn't have any pain from misalignment from sleeping on the mattress. It did seem to keep me a bit cooler at night. I did have to make sure that my sheets were for a deeper pocket fit. Overall I am very pleased with this mattress. It seems like it will work great for my spare bedroom.

    Great support and firmness for large person.
    This mattress came in a rather large heavy box. Inside the box was a very tightly wrapped queen size mattress. Putting the wrapped item on the existing bed frame and CAREFULLY cutting the plastic revealed a perfectly fitting queen size mattress with an attractive covering. The directions gave us direction on how to do all this and then give the mattress time to rejuvenate. The mattress is intended for a 6'4" 325 pound man. Even after the first night he stated that it was great. Subsequent nights allowed the mattress to fully fill and provide the firm support that he was looking for. After a week he says this is the most comfortable and supportive bed he has ever had. It is a winner!

    Great decision
    So far so good! I opened alone with No problem! As soon as it opened it popped completely expanded. Some reviews for these type mattresses said there was a smell. I do not smell anything. Came in a larger box than the mattress so the ends were not smashed. I laid in it feels extremely comfortable. I Would like to come back to review after my son (college age) sleeps in it and update his thoughts on the nights sleep. So far Im pretty impressed!

    Great Mattress - Fast Delivery
    Ordered online Sunday evening and mattress arrived on Friday morning. Unpacked and set up per instructions. Slept on it that night. Only complaint is that it is rather heavy and you could use two people to set it up (I did it by myself.) Two months later and we are both extremely happy with the mattress. No more hip or back pain when we wake up. Mattress has firm edges and you can sleep right on the edge if you want. We have not experienced excessive heat (as some mentioned). I would highly recommend this mattress.

    Great value and a quality mattress all in 1.
    When I first opened the box it looked like it was not a 12" deep mattress. Once I positioned the mattress on my bed it even appeared that it wouldn't be long or wide enough for my king. However, within a few minutes after cutting through the vacuum packaging, the mattress came to life and expanded exactly to the correct size and thickness. I waited 2 nights before sleeping on it. All I can say is that I love it. Even when my wife moves around on her side you dont feel anything and I have slept uninterrupted since the first night. Great price for a quality mattress.

    I am very satisfied with this bed!
    The first night I slept on my new bed was the worst night ever!!! Every inch on my body hurt! It recommended to wait 24 to 48 hours before sleeping on it but I had no where else to sleep. (It did say that you could sleep on it before the 24 to 48 hours, but I wouldn't recommend it). The mattress had only had about 5 hours to expand before sleep and I will never do that again. The second night was so much better and every night after. I am so very pleased with this purchase. It is a very firm mattress and that is what I wanted. My previous purchase was a spa sensation and that was a great mattress also but I wanted a firmer one. The spa sensation one we gave to our girls and they love it! I would definitely recommend any one out there that is looking for a very firm mattress the sleep innovations is fantastic! Just make sure you let it fully expand.

    Very firm, but not uncomfortable.
    My wife sleeps on her back and insisted on a firm mattress. I am a side sleeper and would have preferred a bit more plush mattress. However, this mattress is very comfortable despite being firm. The initial oder is not overwhelming. We slept on it only 10 hours after it arrived. It did linger for a few days but was barely noticeable. All things considered it was a good buy. Did I mention that it is a FIRM mattress. I weigh 260 and I barely sink in. Probably could have got away with an 8 inch mattress instead of 12.

    Surprisingly Firm
    Yes, believe those reviews that say this thing is firm. Super Firm. We bought this for a spare room for when our sons come to visit. We opened it up and left it on the platform for a week before using it. When we went to put sheets on it, it felt so hard that I thought we would be returning it for sure. We got good reviews from some fussy customers. They said it was very comfortable despite being firm to the touch. That was a relief because there is no way you are ever getting this thing back in the box!
