Excellent Picture Quality!
I bought this last week and it arrived today. Installation was straight forward, although I recommend you purchase the recommended Sony wall mount for this model if you are goin that route. Mounting was straight forward and it helps that this 77" A80J is only @ 64 pounds ... definitely a two person job. Set up was straight forward, although I set it up for basic tv as I have it connected to my home theater system and feed all of my inputs through my Denon receiver to the TV via the eARC port. When setting up my AppleTV, I will say it took a little to figure out as the AppleTV would not let me set it up for 4K Dolby Digital. Long story short, go to TV settings and set the eARC port for Dolby Digital, it defaulted to standard resolution, so my connecting devices didn't want to use the higher resolution settings. Once that was set, everything worked great ... and let me just say what a fantastic picture OLED provides, WOW! I upgraded from a Samsung Q60T (82") and am very happy I did. The color on this A80J is so vivid, deep, and vibrant, its like I'm rediscovering TV all over again. TV sound sounded good, but I didn't listen to it too long as I enabled audio from the TV to my audio system. Bottom line, very highly recommended, don't wonder weather you should spend the money for the A80J or not, just buy it, you won't regret it!!

    Really Glad I Bought This
    This is the first TV I've purchased without seeing it first. I have a smaller Sony OLED that I bought in December 2019. I expected this to be a larger version of that one…this one is better! Maybe it's the cognitive processor but this picture is outstanding! This TV upscales 1080 blu-rays so they almost look like a 4K disc, and a 4K disc is even better. I don't want to forget about the audio. The audio in this is really good, the sound radiates from the screen. This TV is a good place to start, one could enjoy movies and sports without a home theater. Get the TV now and add the sound later.

    The awesomeness of Sony's Picture processing!
    Even though I've been with Sony for years, I was comparing Oled tv's side-by-side in .electronic stores just to see how much of a difference the Picture and performance made by each set. Even though some of the Oled tv's that I have seen had a nice Picture quality about them, Sony remains unrivaled! The realism, the depth, the 3-D imagery, and lifelike picture quality, and just overall clarity of the Sony's are second to none! Sony is the best! Bar none!

    Awesome TV
    I was hesitant on spending this much on a TV but what a Great Purchase. It was very easy to set up. Picture Quality is out of this world, sounds like you're in the theater without any additional speakers and synced right up to my cable provider. I will not hesitate to do this again when I have to upgrade another set in my house or recommend this to friends or customers. Thanks Sony for this technology.

    I did my homework!
    I am not an impulse buyer. I do a lot of research before I pull the trigger. It literally took my wife saying, “I am tired of hearing about it, just buy it!” Before I actually made the purchase. I have not been disappointed. I purchased the 77” and with the help of my neighbor I mounted on my wall. The picture is amazing! Even my wife who doesn't care about electronics commented about how good the picture looks. The tv sounds good as well, as long as you don't care about bass. The tv lacks in that department, but if it bothers you, you can always buy a sound bar with a subwoofer. All and all I am very happy so far with my purchase.

    Perfect Contrast
    I purchased an A8G in 2019 and had to replace my second tv with a 65” A90J. Infinite Contrast, HDMI 2.1, acoustic surface, are some of the features that make this one of the most well rounding tvs on the market. Huge fan and will likely get a larger one in the future.

    65 A80J OLEDing into the 21st century
    I bought this TV a month ago and recently had it delivered and installed. looks and sounds fantastic with my Samsung soundboard, although I intend to get a Sony hi res soundboard soon. I'm loving ❤ the gorgeous picture and abilities of this device it feels great to view the content, television, movies, sports on this great screen. I love Sony products

    Great OLED picture and audio plus NextGenTV
    Set this up on Friday, May 7th. Super easy setup. Has the NextGenTV tuner (ATSC 3) for when the broadcasts become available and Google TV. The audio coming from the screen is pretty amazing and is more than enough for the content we watch.
