    Good high-current extension
    The power to my swimming pool motor went out - corroded underground conduit - so I had to run an extension cord. The first one I used was 16-3 but it got pretty warm because the motor is 3/4 HP. This one is 12-3 and doesn't get warm. The motor seems to run better, too, so there was probably too much drop in the 16-3 cord. This one is very well made but it would be nice if the light in the receptacle end were a little brighter. It is hard to see in the sun. I recommend the manufacturer switch from a neon lamp to an LED.
