They do work, but read the instructions
I have used these for several years. If you position them correctly they do reduce the mosquito population. They work by attracting mosquitos so you have to hang them AWAY from where people will be. If you live on a suburban lot, this is not practical. If you live in a more rural area with room to hang these 80 feet away (as per instructions), they work pretty well.

    Not perfect, but will be a repeat customer
    We have a pool and a lot of tropical plants and bamboo. We've tried bug lights, mosquito foggers, yard sprays, etc with minimal success. My neighbor recommended Spartan mosquito control, so I figured for the price it was worth a try. I'm very impressed. We have two of them about 70 feet apart on opposite corners of the backyard. Before Spartan if you went outside in the evening mosquitoes would swarm and bite you. Spartan is nor perfect, but I'd say it eliminated 90% of the mosquito problem. Occasionally one will still buzz up and bite me, but they're few and far between. I'll definitely buy more Spartans after these run their course. I think the effectiveness to cost ratio is very good.

    If you like being out side in your yard you need this product. They really do work. This is our third year buying these for our yard and not once been disappointed. Use as directed and you won't be either!!

    Been using these for 4 years
    Great for our wooded neighborhood. We buy one set in early April and a set in early July. The mosquitos are drastically reduced and I don't have to worry about the kids or puppy getting into it!

    Great product!
    We use this every summer. We hang them on trees about 20 feet from our patio. It decreases the amount of mosquitoes in our yard.
