    You get what you pay for.
    Set up instructions are lacking and hard to understand. But seems to work ok. Luckily I had some good Sony speakers Im using, the speakers that come with the system are cheap and very poor quality. But you get what you pay for.

    Cool retro speakers works with my PC
    I love these speakers for being able to be hooked up to my PC sound card in full 5.1 surround using 6 cables. Even though the DVD player does not support a line in you can just dump the DVD player and hook the speakers up to anything you want as the speakers work without the DVD player.

    Terrible
    2 of the speakers had loose parts rattling around inside of them, and it made a awful buzzing noise whenever it was turned on. Sounded like a bad ground in the system. Still waiting on the refund from the third party vendor..

    not what expected
    We were looking for a surround sound system to enhance our TV but this was not it. This is basically just a DVD player with speakers. There are only audio out plugs feeding it out to the TV. There's not any audio in plugs were you can watch your normal TV and have the audio play out the speakers. If that's what your looking for do not buy this. If all you is to play DVDs with an extra boost of sound for speakers then this is for you.

    I love this home theatre system!! The sound is awesome and it's neat !! Drawback is the subwoofer, because you have to turn the knob in the back to turn the volume up and down
