This TV is worth it. Gaming or streaming.
Great TV for the price, would be worth it even if it wasn't on sale. I got this primarily for gaming with a PS5, and let me tell you, the game mode makes a HUGE difference. Very little if any screen lag and all the different colors are super vibrant. Clear picture and great refresh rate. If you're like me and have been wanting a QLED but can't afford to spend over a grand on a TV, this is the TV for you. If streaming is more your thing rather than gaming the Roku options are fantastic. You can customize your home screen to put any app in any order you choose. Set up was quick and easy and because the tv is so light I didn't even need to get a new wall mount(although you may wanna make sure you have extra screw sizes and spacers) in my opinion TCL makes the very best budget tv on the market. Do not go with one of these even cheaper brand Roku tvs. Even if you're not looking for a QLED, TCL makes great a regular led and has 1080p and regular 4k(2160) HDR tvs that are priced well and good quality. I highly recommend this tv if you're in the market for a new one, or if you're looking to buy this as a gift.

expected new item... received defective item
I expected this to be brand new. It came with a box that appears to have already been opened. The item inside did not have matching packaging -- looks like a refurbished item. The item is also DEFECTIVE. There are many many vertical lines when turned on. So I sent it back. It's been a week since I sent it back. Still no refund. I do not recommend buying important items this way.

    Great new TV
    I like the size. The old 73" TV was too huge for my living room "we" bought 9 years ago. I can now see out my small front window which had been 95% covered by the monster TV. It was easy to set up. I carefully installed it all by myself (I'm 74 years old). The hi-def picture is fantastic. Since it is a Roku TV, I didn't have to install my Roku box.

    Just amazing. Got it on sale for $300 (Black friday week, you can usually find crazy tvs half off) Its beautiful. some reviews mentioned the brightness but thats generally a slight issue with QLED, we planned for it and decided to put it in our basement livingroom/bar area. only one window in the whole room and even in peak sun, i actually found myself setting it to the darker brightness setting as it hurt my eyes at max lol. its great for gaming. we have a series x, it doesnt do 120hz but as a PC gamer with a $2000 build and 144hz monitor, there isnt a single game on xbox that I feel 120hz is entirely useful for. 4k60 looks absolutely crazy on this TV. I was literally blown away by the contrast and brightness when i put on Forza Horizon 5 for the first time. this thing literally outclasses the Samsung 7000/8000 series, and the base model q60 QLED samsung series. It is a crazy value and you get a crazy amount of TV, even at the normal price of 500-600. If youre reading reviews and looking for a sign to buy it, this is it. Do it, its amazing!

    Excellent picture! Excellent TV!
    I bought a Samsung Q60T 55" TV and it tore up within two weeks of buying it, so I ordered the 50" TLC 5 Series from Walmart. I received it fairly quickly, opened it up and set it up in my living room. I turned the TV on and was pleasantly surprised at the depth of color and beautiful picture of the TV. I wasn't expecting it to perform better than the more expensive Samsung Q60T. Overall I rate it 5 stars although I do wish it had more features such as Bluetooth.

    This Tv is good for the middle if you want a 4k TV at 60hz the color is ok too way better then the 4 series including brightness i got this for my PS5 but if you have a a couple extra more to spend I suggest get the 6 series that's the perfect TV for your buck and has 120hz but over all this is a good TV if your looking for something in the middle

    TCL has Quality Control Issues/ FedEx shipping
    Was hesitant to buy after reading the reviews about screen damages and poor shipping. I thought I lucked out my screen looked fine, till I turned it on and saw the damage shown in picture tv wouldn't leave that screen either. FedEx sucks with there shipping. The guy dragged the tv up my driveway the bottom of my box was damaged and wet since it was raining. Wish Walmart would use UPS to ship I've had nothing but bad experiences with FedEx. Returning while inconvenient was a very simple process had help bringing it in and was quickly thur the process.

    very satisfied with this tv. picture quality is great. I purchased this for master bedroom and love it. very simple set up, I think I had set up in 10 mins or less. I would recommend this tv and brand. I was skeptical at first, but after reading and researching 65 inch top brands, TCL brand 5 series was rated at the top. Glad I decided on this purchase.
