Long Time User of TP Link
Updated from TP Link 1200. I have always relied on someone else to install all electrical devices. So I was hesitant in setting this up myself because I do work for home and this is a needed a piece equipment in order for me to remain working from home. So I was very nervous and setting it up. They have several different ways that you can use their instructions to set up. I just switched out everything just as it was on the old TP link and connected it that way. I did have to download the app to create an account to then be able to get everything connected but that was not hard. I love how thin it is and lightweight I put AA batteries beside it so you could see how thin it is. A comment about tp-link support in general is that I didn't love it they kept blaming my internet provider for why one device which was a television that uses a connected Roku device that continued to say weak service. But my internet provider when I called them back again said it's not them that's weak because all my other devices are connected strong and work just fine. I'm going to have to call them back again and get more assistance. But as I said in my title I have been using tp-link for years I think this is my third version. I absolutely refuse to pay for the one from the internet provider that is such a rip off this is definitely worth the money.

so much trouble
I chose the phone app tether to connect my router. I received a message at the end of the procedure that said "no devices detected" when actually both my laptop and tv were currently using the router now, After 45 min on the phone with customer service < chat > we still didnt solve the problem . Also the series of numbers you use for your passwords etc are termed differently in the actual phone app you use when you are hooking it up. The internet cable is way too short. In short,i cant tell a difference in the performance of this router from my old linksys which was almost ten years old. Except the set up on this one is way more convuluted and nonsensical. I would not buy this again Or recommend it.During the procedure i was asked to maybe try a different browser on my laptop,then when that didnt work i was asked to maybe try a different cell phone or tablet to open the app tether!

    Very strong signal and well made router!
    So I have three other routers to compare this to. I rate this as high if not higher than both. I had this on the second floor and went into my basement and still got a sting signal. The one thing I like more about this than the others is the size of the router. My other ones seem so big and bulky and this lays so flat and small compared to other routers. I would recommend this router to my other high-end routers that ran me almost 200 dollars.

    Strong Signal, both inside the house and outside
    If you're in need of a strong Wi-Fi signal, both throughout your house, carriage house (OK, garage), and outside, you'll want to have this router. My son did the install for me, as my eyes just aren't what they use to be; it took him all of 10 minutes to install. This new router replaced my previous one, from another manufacturer, that was at least 5 years old. What a difference the leap in technology has made, during those few years. I took the pictures with the Router placed in front of the printer, for clarity. Normally, it sits behind the printer. I've only dreamed of being able to take my tablet outside, but my dreams have become reality. I love this!

    Fixed my family's WiFi issues
    Presently, I am using this in tandem with my original router from Xfinity, so I am not solely using this as the only router in my home. (My home is a one story ranch and only about 1200 sq ft). That being said you can use this as your only router if you so choose. As far as overall performance goes this has fixed all of our lag issues. I am a teacher, so between using this for teaching while my kids are either using their Chromebooks for school work or using the Xboxes for gaming, we have not had a single issue. Pros: Really easy to set up Able to fix any lag issues Con: If you are looking for a USB port on your router it does not have one.

    Good router!
    The TP-Link AC1900 Wi-Fi router is a great addition to any home Internet package. It has four antennas for extended coverage throughout your home. It is easy to set up with a tether app that you can download from the App Store. Once plugged in, follow the simple instructions to the app and you'll be able to set up this Wi-Fi router within minutes. The instructions on the app are clear and concise and make it easy for anybody, even those that are not tech smart. The Wi-Fi router has full gigabit ethernet ports and speeds up to 1900 Mbps. After setting this up I ran multiple speed test throughout my home and found that the connectivity and the reliability of this router was stronger throughout my home in my older router. I always had issues with my Wi-Fi reaching my bedroom which is on the end of our house. With this Wi-Fi router I know have fast connections even in my bedroom that is on the other side of the house from the router. It has 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz capabilities which I great for faster connections and reduced lag. Overall this is a great addition to any home that is looking for faster and more reliable WiFi.

    I take classes online and there's so much internet is needed for in our household. This is a good router, it does exactly what it's suppose to do. We find it to be fast, Reliable, and it has good range. Im satisfied with it's service and quality. If your looking for a router that fulfills its primary purpose - to get on/stay on/have a great internet connection from everywhere in your home, you will be happy when you purchase the Tp-link Archer C80 AC1900. It also didn't require much to set up and get started.

    TP-Link Archer C80 | AC1900 MU-MIMO Dual-band Wifi
    Got the Archer C80- Great router. Easy to set up and love the range. The four antennas allow for great coverage. You get 1300 mbps @ 5 GHZ and 600 Mbps @ 2.4 GHZ which is fantastic speeds. Price point is super too. Mu-MIMO technology so it is current tech. Footprint is good, slides right out of the way. You will be wifi enabled in no time at all. I have had other name brand routers throughout the years and this one is right up there with them in both quality and technology.

    Great range
    We live way out in the country and always had issues with routers boosting our signal to keep our multiple gaming devices and internet power all over. After putting this and hooking it up we have had zero complaints about a lost signal. Even with it raining. I highly recommend buying this. It has a strong signal and keeps up with the high demand of internet gaming. You will love it!!

The measurements are 9” L X 5” W the router has 4 antennas advanced WiFi features, Parental Controls, Security protects your home and network. Has Smart Connect and 4 Antennas for signal strength. Many features, power on/off, reset, speeds up to 1900 Mbps. We found this does make our connections faster and it works on all devices and even our kindles.
