King of Kings! A terrific adventurous great movie.
An excellent repeat offer for The Lion King, and I am impressed and amazed by the beauty and magic of a good movie overall. The Lion King DVD package was a great deal for me, from Walmart. I am happy that I was able to preorder and locate immediately as well!

Falls short of original movie
Movie lacks the originality of the 90s movie. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 for James Earl Jones return as Mufasa (he is the only returning cast member). The movie lacks several of the memorable lines from the original film. I recommend not watching this movie if you have expectations that it will mirror or be better than the original movie. Disney should have left this remake alone as their documentary African Cats (2011) was a more accurate real life version.

    It is a 3D version of the original. Very small and minor parts were changed. Almost nothing added. Still it is a visually very beautiful. And Seth Roger as alumna - who can not like that?

    Good movie, a little sad at times, but good
    This is a really good movie. I love how they use the real animals. Amazing how it all works. I have heard some people complain about music/songs being different. Guess I just don’t remember the orig well enough to have that complaint. I personally like it better than the animated one. Although both are good. If I could only add one to my collection it would be this new one. I think the real animals makes it a little more sad at times. Would absolutely recommend to any one who has a movie collection and want to expand.
