Product not without issues.
Perhaps an isolated issue. However, the four wheels utilized for the track system produced noticeable jarring throughout the range of motion. Not fluid at all. Upon further inspection, I found the wheels and bearings assemblies were either not installed properly or faulty. They did not run true and would rub at certain points on rotation against the chassis. Has been over 48 hours since Contacted Walmart I have yet to hear back any resolution.

I had another older total gym model, but gave it away, afterwards I regretted it so I bought this one. comparing the 2, the older model was sturdier, and of heavier gauge steel. but this one seems to be plenty sturdy enough, as I've used it to compliment and add to, my regular weight workouts. it's smooth and quiet, and has 2 more resistance levels than the older version. I'm pleased with it, and it seems like it will work in with my regular workouts just great! I'm glad I purchased it.RJ

I'm glad I did! A little tricky to set up if you've never used one of these, watch a video, so much easier after you see how it's done! I god this for rehabilitation after cancer treatments and surgery, it's great because it's pods to start with a very easy level and progress. It's fun too!Laureate

This is my second Total Gym bought to use at our temporary accommodation, the first is still working well after ten years of regular use; only the rollers have worn down and been easily replaced. I am 72 years old and haven't really worked out in years, so for me to say it was easy to start and stick with is saying something. Iam getting results and feeling better than I have in years. It comes out of the shipping box easy to set up and get started, just don't try to do too much in the beginning, my son-in-law and daughter coached me the first day and it helped. Only downside is having to buy some new jeans.Terry

After looking at the cheaper brands and their reviews I decided to spend a bit more and go with the Total Gym. The product was delivered ahead of time and packaged extremely well. No damage and all items were included. A month since my purchase and it works as it should with no problems. It was very easy to set up and start using. When raising it to the highest incline, I found carpet helped or else it kept slipping as I tried to pull up the incline bar. A wall to support it would probably work also, then once in place, it stays in place. The dvd really helps with all the exercises. I do wish the wheels, which really are just plastic moving caps on the legs would assist better when wanting to move it. Its very heavy, but folds up super easy.richard

My doctor has cleared me to workout after shoulder surgery, so starting out with the least resistance has been great to build back my strength. I have been using this for 3 weeks now, already I can see a big improvement with my strength. Honestly, I can work out every muscle group using this Total Gym that I did using 18 different weight machines at the gym, plus you can do a cardio workout! I highly recommended the Total Gym! Great value for the money!Robin
