GREAT PRODUCT!
I actually got 2 of these for my boys. They have been playing with them non-stop and the battery last a pretty decent amount of time. I also made sure I got a case for each of them because you know how careless children can be with electronics. Even the refurb one of these I got is working with no issues. I was able to activate the phones online with no hangups. Not to mention that the price for these phones is unbeatable!

It not good so far
What a night mare. This is my 3rd phone thru Total wireless. Love their contact through eastern seaboard and local. But can't connect new phone. Have not had a phone in 4 days. Talked to 2/3 different service techs to no resolve. Guess send phone back and start over or go with different service.

    Terrible phone.
Phone has weird glitches plus hardly any storage. I'm not impressed.

    Great Value
I purchased this 4G phone a week ago because 3G is being discontinued. I bought another Samsung Galaxy because my other phone is still going strong after 3.5 years. It is intuitive to learn how to use and very durable ... and you can't beat the price. Would definitely recommend.

    Great phone for the money.
I bought one of these in early 2021 for about $110 and never had a SERIOUS problem with it. Took it out of the protective case to clean the case and replace the protective glass...and dropped it...smashed the screen, etc. Bought a replacement from Total Wireless *** for ONLY $40!!! *** For that money this is a GREAT phone. NOW: I don't do processor-intensive gaming or watch videos on my phone, so maybe it's not good at those things and I just don't know it. But it IS good for most everything that I use it for. - Speaker phone is nice and loud - Home screen is lockable so you don't accidentally move or delete home screen apps - Plain-jane Android - updated every year (I think Samsung guarantees 3 Android updates, which means that there is one update left for the 2021 android version) - Samsung browser is pretty decent, and because of its popularity is good for me to test web sites - takes good photos (not great, not professional quality, but I don't need professional quality) - I like that the power switch is programmable so that a "regular" press can start any app you want Medium battery life. I've never used a whole battery charge in one day, not even with an 18-month-old phone. The primary con: like most low-cost and medium-cost phones, the screen is not bright enough to be usable in direct sunlight. Other cons - the images and text on the top "status bar" are so tiny that my old eyes have trouble seeing what it says, and there is no way to enlarge it (though you CAN enlarge text everywhere else) - typical of mobile phones, the keyboard keys are too tiny for my fat man fingers (What are the mobile phone makers thinking? Don't they know that people's fingers are bigger around than a pencil eraser?) - small-ish RAM capacity. Though I never ran out of memory after 18 months or so of use, it was getting close to the limit. Someone who is much more into "apps" than I am will want a phone with more RAM. I chose this over the A02 when my phone smashed because I already had a case and screen protectors for the A01. Based on what I've read, the A02 isn't really better than the A01 anyway. CONCLUSION: for the $40 Total Wireless price, this is a GREAT buy.

    This phone is crap
Ths phone has absolutely no storage memory. I guess it would be OK for a child. But all in all the phone and total wireless isn't the greatest. I plan on going to a different carrier as soon as my month is up.

Auto Upgrade o/s, now phone will not boot up
This phone is an exact replacement of the one that when o/s updated would not boot up. This new one is updated and operates as should. I have done research on the phone and tried suggestions to get the phone to boot, to no avail. Now I am out the expense of another phone to replace the non-functional phone. Have let other phones in the past auto-update with no problems. I always have the charger plugged in and working when updating. " Bummer "

Good phone for the price, camera a little lacking
This phone has been a great upgrade from my J7 Samsung Skypro. I really like the additional features on the camera, except that it isn't very good at taking a quick photo. I really have to make sure the subject is still to get a clear photo, even though it's higher mp than my last phone. Otherwise, this is a great little phone that was easy to transition to.

    Average smart phone
I purchased this in a hurry to replace my previous damaged Samsung phone. It has similar features and was easy to get my backed up info from Samsung and Google. This phone is narrower than my previous Samsung and more difficult to see.

    Budget Android
It's a nice little package and significant performance upgrade from my LG Phoenix, which lasted two years until a drop that started a creeping crack that never ceased. So far I love the A01.
