i was lied to
i had a samsung tracfone and it was a 3g so it stopped working when they went to 5g. i called them several times before purchasimg their phone and everyone i talked to assured me that i could transfer my unused minutes and time and phone number so i agreed to purchase their phone. after i got the phone and tried to do just as i said i above it was a different story, after keeping me on the phone and telling me they were transferring everything, they then said they couldn't do it, so i sent the phone back to them and will not do business with them again

I have a cell phone basically for emergencies if my car breaks down, to enter access codes to sign in to online accounts, and to get an occasional call when I'm not home. This phone is perfect for that. The battery lasts almost a week on one charge because I do not have any data usage - just talk and text. The phone feels heavy and durable, and works perfectly. This one does not have the features of the old one and too many faults to waste time writing about. It did have a loud ring and you can call/text on it, so i guess it gets 2 stars.Williiiiiiii

My main use of a cell phone is to make and receive calls and texts. When I received this phone I was happy with it...until I began to use it. Although I wasn't too concerned with accessing the internet, I occasionally do. But not on this phone. When I was able to, the screen is so small I literally had to use a magnifying glass to read it. Ok, I can still use it for calls and texts. When I first used it to text, there was strike two. You have to hit each key until you get to the letter you want. And for some reason in the middle of a text, it would randomly switch to upper case, lower case, numbers, etc. After so much frustration, I switched my service back to my smart phone. Unless you want this L125DL to do nothing but make and receive calls on, I wouldn't recommend it.JustSayNo

I don't want camera, internet, text, radio, etc etc. My last LG phone was just a phone, but I dropped it on the living room rug and it broke. It was half as big as this new one, very convenient. This GD phone plays bells when it turns on and off and there appears to be no way to turn them off. I don't want bells! When I try to add contacts, I can put in a name but not a number. Do I have a defective phone or a defective design? It took me quite awhile to figure out if I scrolled down, there's another slot for a phone number that works, but the slot for a mobile phone does not work. I am sorry there are evidently so few of us who just want a phone that no manufacturer bothers to make one.Donangelo

Finally found *86 prompt and when I pressed 1 to hear messages in English, all I got was Spanish. After much fiddling around, got that changed. BUT my phone still shows 4 missed phone calls. There are no messages in my voicemail box and NO WAY to delete the message on my phone showing 4 missed calls. So I have to assume I don't have any new missed calls, I guess until the number goes up to 5 or more. Not thrilled with product but since you do not sell replacement batteries for my previous flip phone, I'm stuck with this.Unknown

I have been wanting a flip phone even though it lacks some of the features in a smart phone. Messaging is slower and more difficult. But, I don't do a lot of messaging so it's not a big deal. I have to manually add my contacts, the transfer wizard doesn't work with a flip. Well, that gave me a chance to clean up all the contacts that were no longer important. I like the heft and fit of the phone in my hand. I like the safety of being able to close the cover and not have the phone making calls accidentally. It just works well for me. I was looking for a basic phone, this is my choice.Varychka
