Good for the price
I did a lot or research before buying my this TV. I bought both a 43" and 50" model so I'll end up just posting the same review for both. I think it looks great. especially after you mess with the display settings in depth. I wanted this for just casual viewing and casual gaming, but I'm very picky and want the VERY best. I just have no reason to buy a high end $1000. This TV is good enough and a casual viewer or even "enthusiast" will be happy with this TV. I will say it sucks that you can't delete apps off this TV and it also doesn't have a Youtube button on the remote. some of the apps and button shortcuts on the remote make it feel cheap. With that being said. This is probably THE BEST TV in it's class which is budget level. It turns on instantly. You have Air Play which is awesome. The big thing this TV is lacking is Apple TV built in. I have a Samsung TV in this price range in one of my guest rooms and having Apple TV is awesome. With that being said I already have 2 free standing Apple TV's so I didnt mind that it's lacking. Again, This TV looks sounds, and is great. It has a premium feel without the price.

I was shipped garbage!
The box was a mess and the TV looked as if children refurbished it. It was taped at the top of the screen with a bright light coming out of it. They refurbished it with mf tape!

Wifi connection issues, can't use most of time!
Bought this tv for my daughter for Christmas, almost right away it had connection issues with the wifi and wouldn't work properly. A technician replaced a part and still it didn't help the connection. Everything other device in the house connected just fine to the wifi with no issues. With the warranty they sent another tv and it has the same issues with the wifi connection. Wasted of $, this particular tv in this brand isn't recommend!!

Disappointing for a brand I've always trusted
I've only ever purchased Vizio TVs. This TV soured my opinion of their products. Internal speakers make a "popping" sound in low volume movie scenes (particularly scenes with no music). Others have reported the same issue, Vizio indicates they're working on a fix. It's been months, no fix. The HDMI loses signal from devices intermittently and regularly. I verified that the problem was not with the cable or connected devices. Maybe I just got a bad TV, but I've seen a multitude of others online with identical complaints about this item.

    Great for its price
For the money, this TV is great, its size, picture, apps, etc... I love the app and remote layout. Its picture is awesome when theres no sun. My only complaints is its glare(when theres sunshine) and audio quality. You get what you pay for! I added two photos of the TVs picture, in a dark room and when my windows are open.

    Satisfied Vizio TV owner!
Love the TV for its Smartcast feature. Second Vizio in the home. Only regret, I should have gotten a larger size TV. My mistake in regards to that.

Great Viewing and More Reasons to Cut the Cord
Quick disclosure: We received this TV for review, but that doesn't impact the thoughts I've shared here. We own several VIZIO televisions and have for years. The picture is always amazing compared to other brands available at the same time and the system setup a snap. Customizing the brightness and other visual specs is extremely intuitive. The only hiccup we had with this unit is that the base was wider than the stand we had to put it on. So if you aren't planning to wall mount your VIZIO then make sure you get the right sized stand. While everything visually has been great, the standout features have less to do with pixels or dimensions and more to do with integration. VIZIO continues to push the envelope on streaming and entertainment options by having apps built into the system. I cannot even come close to listing all the apps and features, but here's a sampling: Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Apple TV, Disney+, YouTube, Vudu, Tubi, Filmrise, Vevo, Fandango, Pandora, IHeartRadio, Peacock, Acorn, CBS All Access and more. There is even an app of free shows powered by VIZIO/Pluto TV. How about Facebook Watch? Yup. That's even there. Karaoke of interest to you? App for that also! There's a whole list of apps and services I've never even heard of like Plex, Sanctuary, Dark Matter, FlixFling, Haystack News, Newsy and Donut the New Car Culture. If you're one of those people who struggles with trying to figure out which buttons to hit to navigate into the various apps, I'll set your mind at ease there also. The remote "home" button takes you to the screen that shows "App row" (which is customizable, by the way) and various shortcuts. But the app ALSO has buttons specifically labeled as Netflix, Prime Video, Vudu, Xumo, Hulu, Redbox and Watch Free (that's the VIZIO one). The whole system is powered by more than just the remote with options to integrate with devices such as Google, Alexa and Chromecast. I've been too busy enjoying all the other options as I recognize this TV may be what finally helps me realize we can cut the cord and not feel like we're missing out. As you evaluate what type of TV you want to add to your home, make sure you consider ease of use and streaming options while also how good the picture is! Quick Setup, Great Quality
I was able to set up this monitor fairly quick. Having the standup box made it less scary for such a big monitor. Ports are easily accessible, but wished the power cord was a little longer. Channels that utilize Dolby Vision - like Disney+ - were amazing to watch. Connecting via Watch Now, Roku, Apple TV and more are a breeze, and I don't see any quality difference. While the sound was good, this works a lot better with a soundbar using ARC or Optical audio. You can get a true Dolby Atmos sound with a good bar. The remote was similar to the last, and the new button placement will be a small learning curve. Pairing Alexa, apps, and more was very easy. And with Watch Now being more robust, I could see myself using that as the main remote interface. I am also glad VIZIO continues to add an Ethernet jack. I see less video ramp-ups when it's cabled. The stand is fairly sturdy. I tried a couple tip and shake tests, and the monitor felt solid enough to survive. Viewing angle is amazing on this monitor. I could see the action on the screen from 89 degrees. In all, a powerful monitor for viewing your favorite shows. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    What a Picture!
When I began to remove the Vizio V585X-H1 58” 4K TV from the box this weekend, I knew our family was in for a great experience. The packaging was great – everything was easy to remove – and we were ‘up and running' in no time. We chose to place the TV on a wall mount (already in place) which was easily accomplished. Plugged in the HDMI cable from our Cable Service, attached our steaming device through the third HDMI port, and as a bonus, used HDMI Port #1, which is also the ARC port on the V585X-H1, to connect with our Vizio V51-H6 soundbar. Plugged in the power cord and within seconds we were inputting the needed information to connect to our home WIFI, named the location for the TV, took care of all of the other registration information needed and waited just a few minutes as the TV updated the firmware/software. We were watching the Masters Golf Tournament on our new Vizio V585X-H1 within 40 minutes of taking it out of the box. During Sunday Night Football, it looked at times as if the players were going to join us right in our lounge. We could even pick out raindrops on the players helmets as we watched! Everyone I know has their own preferences when it comes to what kind of picture, and sound levels, they want on their television. Our family is no exception. After watching for about an hour, and putting the TV through its paces including Smartcast, Watchfree, and our streaming service, I made just a couple of picture and sound adjustments that work best for our family. During setup, the V585X-H1 synced right up with our cable service remote allowing us to use it to control power on/off, the volume, as well as cable channel selection. A huge plus in these days of multiple remotes. We do keep the remote that came with the TV on hand to control Smartcast and Watchfree when not using the Smartcast App (which worked right away) on our smartphones and tablets. We plugged in a USB ‘thumb drive' with pictures from our last vacation in Hawaii. The pictures were clear and crisp, and navigation was easy. In conclusion, our family is average when it comes to technical ‘expertise.' However, technical ‘expertise' is not needed with the V585X-H1. Set up was easy – viewing from wide angles great, the picture and sound crisp and clear. We highly recommend the Vizio V585X-H1 as a great family TV that will provide great entertainment value! Ps5 review with 43” vizio v435-h series
Didn't see any PS5 reviews and I wanted to share because I bought this tv for it. I was coming off a Samsung odyssey g5 32” curved 1440p @144hz. PS5 doesn't support it (qhd). I was playing at 1080p @60hz and upscaled to 1440p. I thought that I would be losing performance and would be but I was wrong. I wanted 4K hdr w/hdmi 2.1 and 60hz or above. This 43” v435 series tv only offered 60 hz 4K hdr @60 hz with a game mode. I was reluctant but wanted to try it. As far as PS5 gaming, it's much better than my qhd Samsung odyssey. Pros: no real difference in response time and quality of the 4K image compared to a monitor (qhd) is much better (it's what theps5 was made for). I play modern warfare, warzone and Cold War and in the ps5 this tv was the same as the 144hz monitor but with much better. I'm a serious gamer and can attest that this tv is seriously better than any monitor I have had. I was mad that the ps5 didn't support qhd but now I understand why. Ps5 games are 4K so why would I want lower resolution? I have played warzone, modern warfare and Cold War and spider man and all are better on this tv than my g5 Samsung odyssey. I put the tv on specific settings with normal color and gaming mode on and hdr on for the ps5. I tweaked the contrast, gamma, color, tint, and sharpness a little to my liking. This was $270 compared to $300 for my monitor and I'm so happy I was able to return my monitor. I have another vizio and the Preloaded apps make it great. I used Vudu to test some 4K hdr movies and it was crisp and vibrant. Color and definition and quality of the image is as good as my $2500 82” Samsung. Being able to use apps to watch tv or Netflix/Vudu etc and cast from your phone are feature no monitor has. *Please note that I am using this on a desk and wall mounted and using like one would a monitor, if you're planning to use it the same way as I am, don't hesitate and hope that they still have this deal. Negatives: the sound is not the greatest and needs to be put higher (volume 15-25 for me) to enjoy. But at around 25 volume or higher the sound isn't bad for movies. I plan to get the 2.1 sound bar to make movies better and solo gaming on the ps5 sound better but it's really not needed. I mainly use the ps5 3D wireless headset for gaming because the sound is amazing so this is only if I'm watching a movie or something using the tv app, and in that case I would most likely watch the movie on my bigger Samsung 82” with surround sound. The other negative is that it was somewhat glitchy when using and hdmi switch as the screen would black out. I would just have to switch to an unused hdmi port and switch back for the screen to come back. I fixed this by dropping the switch and having the ps5 on port 1 and my work laptop in port 2. Last negative is that the startup/setup glitched out twice but I just restarted the tv and started the process again and was able to startup/setup again. After that I never experienced any issues. Best ps5 tv for desk
