Buy this TV if you great value for features/colors
I love M Series M8 TV. This tv does it all gaming, movies, photos, and karaoke. My only issue is with the speakers being really low volume. I love all the built in gaming features HDR10/10 /Dolby Vision/HDMI 2.1, VRR, ALLM, AMD Freesync, and more. The TV gets 600 to 800 nits and the quantum color work perfectly for true color. So I went to get a sound bar now its like those $2000 TVs maybe even better. I put this TV up against TCL/Hisense/LG models and this Vizio beat them at price/features/wide color gamut. Full Array Local dimming.

Dead pixels everywhere
The fist tv that I got had dead pixels all over the screen and the sound was piping. At least 15 dead pixels. the replacement tv had dead pixels too. There's at least 10. It's really frustrating when walmart is the only company that is selling this tv now. They just ship it without and packaging. Just the Vizio's original box. No signature required either so someone can just take it and know what kind of tv it is. I'm coming from an old sony bravia 40" tv from 10 years ago so it's frustrating when the tvs I'm getting don't work. I've done lost of research for what tv to get and this is the best tv for around $550 from a name brand company.(sony, samsung,lg,vizio.) I don't buy other brank tvs that the good ones. now I'm wondering if vizio is good or not. It seems theres a quality control issue. Going to return the second one and try again. Third time's the charm? We will see. I expect to buy a TV and not have any problems especially a $600 one.( All the pictures are from my second tv)

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/12/2022GarbageWaste of $500, 6 months old and this tv flat out sucks, remote barely ever works with the tv, have to constantly use an app on my phone, and the tv resets all the time and my phone app or the buttons on the tv are absolutely useless when it does that, so I'm stuck with a worthless $500 tv for days at a time until it decides to work, and vizio offers no help for this. I will never even think of buying anything vizio ever againTravis

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/16/2021Good Tv. Good price pointIt's an ok tv. For the price its good but there others you should spend a little extra on and you'd get a better picture and faster interface. I've seen several reviews complain about sound. Get a soundbar, powered speakers or home theater. These are not built for great sound. It looks the best in a dark room. If your room has a lot of light, it will take away from the picture.Allan

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/02/2021It's big mistake to purchasing this TVThe most annoying operating system in TV industry Few of a ton of the issues with this TV: Automatically powers off whenever it feels to and you can turn it back using a remote. It takes more than 5 minutes to fully load the apps every time when you turn on the TV. Doesn't supply the audio to external speakers most of the time. and many more issues that I have no patience to type. By the way, the VIZIO CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS A JOKE. Once you purchase this you just have to live with it's a ton of issues.Venkateswara

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/16/2021Lips movement lagging not matching the wordsThe picture quality, color is beautiful, however I have to continually unplug and plug it back in, like a reset so that the lip movement matches, catches up to the words. I experienced this problem, occasionally, with my last large screen tv also. I thought it was the network broadcasting the program. It wasn't. So now when I am not watching, I automatically unplug it. I gave it a 4 star rating because of the problem, otherwise I am enjoying watching my favorite programs on this screen.SherI

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/28/2021I Wish I Could Have Returned ThisAfter researching the TV and seeing good reviews before purchasing, I am disappointed with this TV. It has a very good image if youre directly in the center of the screen, but this TV has rainbow or green to pink lines that can be seen on the screen anytime viewing from off-center. You can see it over bright or darker images. I didnt open or set up my tv until well after return window as I had no reason to suspect a problem, so returning was out. And after speaking to Vizio customer support, they tried to say that this is not a defect and is just apart of the viewing angle. If the only angle you can view a tv without rainbow lines showing is directly in the center of the screen, than this is a poor quality TV. I have purchased other Vizio TVs and this was not an issue, nor have I seen this on any TV on display at Walmart. But after the Vizio representative and a manager told me that this is normal operation for the TV and not a defective unit, this will be my last Vizio purchase.Eric

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/20/2021video great! audio... mehvideo quality is great, it's part of why I chose this television, but after setup the audio quality is a bit lacking. I have the TV turned up to 70 and I can barely hear it, my old TV I could have it set to 20 and hear it perfectly. so I'm still toggling those settings, but I am very happy with my purchase otherwise.jenifer

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/09/2020I think it might be a good TVThe TV came in but it looked like it had been used. The back of the TV looked somewhat aged like it was either on display or returned. I paid for a new one. That would have probably been overlooked but the screen has some DSE and banding. I'm looking at returning it.John
