Outstanding picture, plenty of HDMI ports
We've had this TV for about two weeks now, and we love it. At 70-inches diagonal, it's larger than any TV we've had, and the larger size really does make for a better viewing experience, in my opinion. We get closer to a movie theater experience every time. The image is sharp and bright, and I've learned how to adjust the color level so it's not glaring (tune into a golf tournament, soccer match, or something like that with lots of natural grass, and set the color level so the grass is a pale green). The bezel is very thin, so all you see is pretty much nothing but screen. Setup was simple, and the TV takes you though it the first time you turn it on. The remote is one of the simple ones with just a few buttons that seem to be becoming more common now. As long as it has a mute button, I'm good! The TV has four HDMI ports, and we use them all.

Packaging and technology still need work.
Fresh out of the box, the screen on this 58" M7 had vertical lines that changed color based the rest of the image on the screen. The lines changed from black, to pink, to green, to white, (see pics) but never became part of the image. In addition, the protective peel-off tape, that normally comes off easily, was very difficult to remove. It left a pink pixelated pattern (see pics) around the perimeter of the entire screen. Hoping it would "warm" our of it, I left the TV on for an hour, with no change. Very disappointed for 2 reasons; 1. This was a Christmas gift that had to be returned, and 2. VIZIO has been my go-to TV since I purchased my first one in 2008. I've always been pleased until this unit. Unit ultimately returned, with no push-back from Walmart, and replaced with a V-Series VIZIO

    Dead after 7 months
Absolute junk. Purchased 7 months ago for gaming use. Horizontal glitch bars all over the screen, was intermittent now non stop. And when it does it the frame rate freezes so impossible to play any games. Does it in any source, even the built in apps. Going to try and warranty it but they expect you to ship it back in its box which is gone and you have to pay for it yourself. If they don't resolve I'll never buy Visio again.

    Bad TV Experience
After receiving the 3rd TV, I requested a refund. TV #1&2 were defective with lines running vertical in the picture. TV #3 had a busted screen when it arrive. Sam's Club team was very courteous and helpful with replacing and returns.

    Happy tv owner
I bought my tv approximately 3 weeks ago. I really like my tv. It has a beautiful picture and the sound is very good. The price was very good also. I did have 1 hiccup. I had the tv shipped to me. When unpacked it had a large pick blob show up in the right top cornor when turned on. I called website right away they replaced it within 4 days. The staff i worked with was wonderful Replacement tv has no problems and i am very happy.

Its a very nice TV. Picture is clean and crisp. Nice colors. Deep blacks. Backlighting is fine for my setup. We get a fair amount of natural light in the room, and the picture does not appeared washed out. Viewing angles are fine from the side. Its not "blowing my mind" resolution compared to my old regular LED, but for a mid-range QLED, its a very nice TV for the price point. Have an Xbox 1 hooked up for gaming and blueray and it definitely feels like an upgrade here. Highly recommend.

    58 inch model
So far this has been a good TV. I say good because it's not without flaws. Overall the unit works well. This is the first smart TV that I've owned where I've been happy with the “smart functions”. I don't feel the need to add a Roku or other device that would outperform it. I have had the odd experience though. The volume bar has become stuck on during use and the only way to clear it has been to power cycle the TV, the smart functions have experienced lag that was unacceptable on one occasion and I had to cycle the unit again. The picture is really clear and bright but sound quality is pretty poor with an overall “hollow” sound that leaves dialogue muted behind sound effects in most programs. This is not an issue for me because I use it with my home theater system but the average user will probably want to invest in a sound bar. Otherwise I'm happy with this purchase and I'm hoping the minor issues I've had will be corrected via firmware updates.

Good, long review. Bad, buggy TV.
I know it's a long review but this tv was kinda disappointing. Wouldn't recommend. I'd return it if the process of returning a large TV without a proper way to transport it (shipped to me originally) wasn't so tedious. Pretty picture and a decent sized tv. Kinda ends there though. I feel like most of the issues may be software based, but still disappointing with a brand I've valued in the past. Sometimes when you turn on the tv, it'll say no signal to an external device that is powered on and connected via HDMI. If you switch between inputs and go back to the original input it will show the image being sent to it. If you hold to turn the volume button on the remote either up or down it'll keep turning it up or down even if you let go of holding the button. Sucks when it gets to full volume unexpectedly when you're living in an apartment. The image also seems to flickers every so often with image transition. Sometimes not a good transition from a dark to light video due to the flickering. Something a little more harmless, but annoying nonetheless, is that it sometimes it won't save the picture settings. For instance, if you go between “gaming” or “calibrated dark” and power off the tv it won't save that you just switched to calibrated dark right before it was turned off and will power back on in gaming. I do like that each HDMI can have its own picture setting though (HDMI 1 could be set to a gaming setting and HDMI 2 could have a calibrated dark setting already set when switching between the 2) I'm happy that there's an app for the tv that you can use on your phone, but it has got its' own issues. It functions but it is definitely buggy and not fine tuned just yet. They do frequently ask for feedback so that's a plus that they're willing to take criticism.

    Box badly damaged
i received mu tv today, i have bren unable to remove it from box yet. ... may take a couple more days, but i am worried because the box has gouges in it at t h e front side where the screen is ! open holes !! ... so i guess in a couple of days i will knock if this review gets worse, but at this point i am very worried.! I also had problems uploading all the pictures of damage to box, but it honestly looks like some drove a screwdriver into the box, ... damage is on BOTH SIDES , .. i am stressing because im nearly certain that it got to the screen !

    Wonderful TV For The Money
This is my first smart TV. I cut the cord from cable and only get internet and use two over-the-air antennas with a toggle switch so that I can scan all of the channels in my area with success. I love this TV as the picture is awesome. The apps that come with it are wonderful too. I am saving so much money by cutting the cord and using and enjoying this TV. I also bought a Fire Cube for the internet. I recommend this TV highly. The only drawback is that it does not come with a manual. I had to download and print one from the Vizio site.
