Great tv for the price !
Our 12 year old plasma tv got tired, so I went shopping for a new tv. VIZIO is a trusted name in tv's, so I browsed the line of tv's available. Homed in on the 58" 4K tv, read reviews and decided that was just what we needed, based on good reviews, price and features. TV arrived in short order, well packed, unboxed, read the set-up info, got it up and running in about 10 minutes, very easy. Well pleased with features, streaming options and apps. TV has plenty of options for tuning it to your preferences.

Save your time and hassles. Just buy a Samsung!
Terrible picture quality when compared to a Samsung TV which costs only $100 more than this TV. On paper specs this seemed to be a better TV, but colors and smoothness just can't compare to the Samsung. Plus there were dark bands seen in the background. I actually thought that this TV was defective until I returned this TV to the store and saw that the store display Vizio had the same problems!

    Don't buy!
    Have had this TV for less than 1 week and already have problem and need to take back to Walmart. I will have to pay someone to haul it back to them. Day number 3 of having it no picture, turned off and back on, no sound with picture, turned off again and couldn't get it to come on at all. Unplugged it over night and about 5 pm plugged it back up and it came on. The picture is dull looking. Would not recommend purchasing this TV!

    Repeated Reboots Required
    I am hard of hearing so I use a Sennheiser headphone which plugs into the TV as an aid. It works fine with my Vizio except it has to be rebooted almost every time that I turn it on in order to establish connectivity with my headphone. That gets really annoying. Other than that it is a nice TV and serves its purpose very effectively.

    TV Not Working
    The first one we purchased a fuse busted after 24 hours. We requested a second one (save Visio Tv) and it has issues in the start up. Our IT man is the one setting it up so he knows what it is doing. It is nothing that SAM's Club did. I have had Vizio TV's for years. I don't know why this was in being wo wonky.

    OK, not great.
    Good TV for the price (on sale for $400). Picture is what you would expect from this TV. Lots of apps which is nice, but the Smart Cast does not have ESPN as a native app, but can cast it to TV from mobile devices. With so many apps already on the TV, you do not need a streaming device like Fire Stick or Roku. Sound is subpar unless you use a soundbar. Easy online setup. Voice control with remote is not working after one week, so have to use search option to bring up specific programs - clunky.

    Purchased new
    Purchased new and had to return the third day due to it freezing and not responding to remote. Stayed on loading for over 5min. Also had to unplug it several times so I could get it to work for only about 39min. Returned it and purchased an LG, very happy.
