Verizon Wireless Franklin Ellipsis Jetpack MHS900
Walmart delivered the Ellipsis Jetpack as expected. Although the delivery was on time, I wish there were in menu options to expedite delivery. All in all, the Ellipse Jetpack is easy to configure, and unlike Best Buy the device came unlocked and scanned for customer use. I also purchased 2 Pre-Paid cards using Walmarts e-Delivey service offering "no wait" Internet access. Thanks, Walmart!

Verizon ellipsis Jetpack 900L
The product itself works great once u get it working. I ordered one and the set up was easy and completed. Then i ordered two more and they weren't allowing me to set up. Both products stated the device was locked to return to purchaser. I called Verizon which stated the same thing-that Walmart purchased these items without registering them before selling them to consumers. Really Walmart! So it's a hit or miss with Walmart and buying this product legally, not the product. Good luck. Order a few at the time and hopefully one works.

    Do not buy this
    I had bought this to use for internet. I can't even set it up. Went to the verizon store to see if they could help since it was a verizon item. I found out from the store that this item was recalled. Walmart isn't advertising that it's recalled so I wouldn't buy this.

    Verizon Hotspot for security on the road
    Even though my device is not set up yet, I am very pleased with its early delivery and clear directions as to how to proceed. I expect this hotspot to come in very handy as I travel the next month, some places too remote for Internet.

    Waste of time and money because of verizon
    Like the others side, total waste of time and money. Its not walmart, or the device that's the problem its verizon. Even if you already have a prepaid unlimited plan, and are already paying $75 a month. They make you create a new seperate plan and account. They wanted $100 a month for 10 gb's of data which is maybe 2 movies streamed in hd, or 1 or 2 evenings of online gaming and your out of data. Its pathetic. Also I took the device to the local verizon store to have them activate it, and they refused, and said they don't do that anymore for devices unless you buy it directly from them. I would have to call phone tech support. Verizon's phone tech support is horrible, no actual tech support option when you call, wait 20 minutes to get someone that can barely speak english. I returned it.

    Deceptive Advertising
    I bought this in hopes it would work for occassional access in the country. Tried to set up an account only to find that none of the advertised plans are as stated in the Walmart flyers. I chose the $50 plan, but no where did it say you have to pay for two months, and it will not let me pay the difference with another card, so my only option is to choose a lesser plan that will not serve my needs at all. I should have expected no less from Verizon. I will return the unit, but I am stuck with a $50 card that can not be returned. To make matters worse, I lost the wifi connection twice just trying to activate, which does not give me much confidence in the device itself.

    I purchased this device for my son so he would have internet for his computer but it turned out to be a waste of time and money, because there was no instructions how to put the card onto the device and after calling Verizon and being transferred from one customer service rep. To another for over 2 hrs. I was told that I should of received a 10 digit number with the device which i did not, another rep tryed to convince me that I need to take a plan when all I wanted to do was figure out how to add the card to the device since it was a prepaid device. So we returned ite device but got stuck with the $50.00 card since it was emailed to me.

    I have had no problems with this unit since I purchased it! The Ellipsis Jet pack has functioned flawless for me! I opted to use Verizon's unlimited data plan and have no regrets since my purchase!

    I don't think I would make the mistake of purchasing again
    Unfortunately, it has not served me well at all. When I turned it on for the first time it gave me a password to use. I never got a connection so I left it plugged in overnight. The next morning I got a reading on the device saying NotActivated. Placed back in the package it came in and is just lying on the floor for now. Thanks for nothing.
