Easy to read
This is a great thermometer. It has a comfortable, flexible tip and gives me a quick reading.The memory feature is useful and I specially like that the thermometer comes with a storage case. Another great feature is the color-coded display, which makes it easy to read in the dark without having to turn on the lights. This product is a great addition to my family's medicine cabinet.

Do not buy.
This is the second one of these thermometers I have bought within 6 months. They work for a short while and stop. I have replaced the battery in both several times. Do not waste your money!

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/08/2022My thermometer choice after extensive shoppingThis thermometer reaches its final temperature reading within something like 10 seconds. Our older digital thermometers took something like two minutes to actually fully level off, beeping aside. The battery being replaceable is a real plus too, though the battery cover doesn't come off as easily as it should, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. The fancy color-changing feature is a bit silly but OK and the large display is apt to be helpful to some with poor up-close eyesight. I bought two of them, one for a daughter's household, after extensive comparison shopping. It does seem to be a good choice.Joseph

After using Vicks comfort flex thermometer with fever insight, my kids feel very comfortable. It's very fast and accurate. Very easy to use and I love the fact that it comes with the case. I did check with the normal mercury thermometer and compared it with Vicks comfort flex. I got the same results. Overall I would say this is the best digital thermometer I have used which is accurate. I would totally recommend it.Sappu

She hates the hard thermometer in her mouth and I don't trust the readings from the under arm technique. You see, she's a sickly child that frequently gets sinus and ear infections. Unfortunately, almost as soon I getting this thermometer, she felt feverish. It took some effort to convince her to try this new thermometer under her tongue. She sat thru the reading like a champ! What's even better is it didn't take long at all. She screamed, "I did it Mommy!" The flexibility was key. After taking her temp orally, I immediately did an underarm reading, just to compare. To my surprise, the reading were almost identical. Now I have more confidence if she doesn't allow oral readings.Nickypoo1962

The Vicks Comfortflex Thermometer with Fever Insight is what you need. It takes an accurate temperature in seconds. It can be adjusted to record either Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature. The memory feature recalls the last temperature. The display signal green no temperature, yellow suggest slight elevation and red signifies fever. Simple! My new favorite thermometer.Barb39

The thermometer is comfortable under the tongue (not as pointy as the old one) and takes readings MUCH faster. Box says 8 seconds and that seems accurate. Its super easy to use and will change colors if you have a fever. The display readout is very clear and large. Great thermometer, would definitely recommend to others.Dann
