Impossible Turning Adjustment Knob, Send defective
Seems like a good enough piece of equipment, but the wind-up handle included with mine DOES NOT TIGHTEN. Very difficult design that is impossible with this torque wrench for me. I went on Youtube, and others tighten without an issue. So mine must be stripped, as I turn and turn and nothing.

    Very good press with some extra features
    This drill press is exactly what I wanted. It's small. It has a work light, and it has laser crosshairs. Also, it has a rack-and-pinion table-height adjustment. But those are all extra features. What about the real capabilities? The motor provides good power, and the spindle is quiet and smooth and stable. For me, it's a second drill press for use when I'm trying to streamline making prototypes, but I can already see that I'll use it on a regular basis. Not everything is perfect. The table flexes a tiny bit when I put too much pressure on the handwheel. Of course, the answer is to use appropriate feeds and speeds and sharp drills. Also, depth adjustment is not physical stop that I'm accustomed to using; it's a dial that simply shows the relative depths, so I have to keep my eye on the dial instead of relying on a depth stop. Overall, I like the press and I'm glad I bought it.

    Quiet, smooth performance
    Smooth operation, VERY quiet compared to a handheld drill. This is my first drill press, so it may be normal, but I haven't found any reason for the orange plate to need to be able to swivel left/right, and the only thing holding it in the horizontal position is the tooth strip/gear on the main shaft--which will only be in the proper position if you set it that way--AND press down hard enough and lock the orange locking ring tight enough. Thankfully, the laser is a quick and easy way to know if you're close enough to center. So far, VERY happy with this purchase. Also, it was ~$20 more expensive on Amazon when I purchased this.

    Nice press for the money
    This drill press is plenty good for wood working. Don't know about metal work. It was easy to set up and is plenty sturdy. Don't have a problem recommending this press as a really good deal for the money. As far as WEN goes, I had a small warranty claim on another product of theirs and they took care of it quickly and with no hassle.

    exelent benchtop drill!
    After looking at many options for a bench top drill press I settled with this machine and I'm happy I did. It has all the same features of much pricier models, it all steel/cast iron and very sturdy compared to simular models with plastic belt shrouds.

    a good drill for the money
    I bought this drill to use as a hobby end mill. I am building a X,Y vise table for it and ordered several end mill bits. This drill has more than enough power to mill solid steel / stainless steel, although it may have a hard time milling tool steel (few machines can easily mill tool steel). When I first got it, I tested it on a 2 lbs steel hammer with a 3/8" high speed drill bit and used some tap oil. The drill press pulley was set on the 2nd lowest setting. I bored right on through the hammer and the drill press didn't bog down. the hole that the drill put in the hammer was also very clean and smooth. this is a very fine drill press for any home shop, 5 stars!
