Great Stuff
Great stuff! Maybe too good...can't find this stuff anywhere! Guess this will be like the coconut water Walmart used to have...new great product everyone likes caused stock shortages and finally discontinued altogether. It seems every time Walmart gets something good it disappears altogether. If someone finds a national supplier or even a place in China we can order this direct, please let me know!

    Excellent
    Finally Great Value brand made a boxed Mac n Cheese that stands right up against Kraft in flavor and quality. But where they blow Kraft out of the water is their price. So affordable but without giving up anything. Trust me, this recipe is perfect. Buy it.

    No cheese flavor.
    Ever since this changed from the paper packet to the plastic packet of powder, it has ZERO flavor. It's like a packet of yellow food coloring only--it doesn't taste like cheese at all. The previous version was tolerable, but this is pointless. May as well just eat buttered noodles.

    Kraft is much better tasting.
    You can't beat the price. Kraft cheese is bright orange this cheese is pink/orange. This is far inferior to Kraft.

    Keep it on hand for emergencies!
    Based on the price ($.43) this is an excellent buy. I just tried it and I have no complaints..Followed the instructions and it was delicious. There was a little clumping of the cheese mix but next time I will spread the mix a little better. I don't eat much mac and cheese, this was the first in 3 years, and I liked it enough to order another 36 boxes to keep on hand for emergencies. One box is enough for a serving for 1 person so for a family you would have to cook more so if your ordering for the family figure 1 box per person per day.

    Never thought my family and I would find a different brand of Mac we'd like other than Kraft. Well, it happened! The only other kind of Mac we will buy is this specific style from Kroger. The noodles maintain their texture and it doesn't turn to mush. Stellar product!

    this stuff is my go-to easy and fast dish to gobble before heading out on the town. it's cheap. it's tasty. it can be doctored. it doesn't make you feel heavy. it gives me that carb energy. perfect pre-game nightclub food. in fact, it's good whenever you're headed out somewhere and don't want to feel too full but don't want to end up feeling hungry again too soon. if any is left over, you can arm it up in the microwave when you get back home. simple, versatile, and sensible.
