Looks Very Capable
Bought this due to 3 lengthy blackouts and decided I'm too pampered to deal with no septic, water, A/C, edible food. This should power up whatever I need easily. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but strangely looking forward to it. Will review again after next outage.

“You can be sure if it's Westinghouse” - Wait one!
Received the Westinghouse 9500DF generator with a bent frame. The wheel was difficult to attach to the frame and rubbing against the battery so it's useless to push or pull without damaging the battery. The propane regulator also appears bent due to fram damage. I contacted Amazon who put me on with customer service. They did not hesitate to sending me a replacement. Perhaps the replacement will be undamaged and in working condition so I can update my review?

    Solidly Built, Fast Assembly
This generator came out of the box in immaculate condition. Solid wheels and rubber pads installed quickly. Followed with easy connect of the battery. Nothing seemed to be missing, and a quart of oil, with a funnel, was shipped as well. I really like the fold down towing handle. Nothing rickety about that. Will add oil, get gas cans, and wait for the next severe thunderstorms, which seem to be a regular occurrence here in SE PA anymore.

    Thoroughly researched before selection
I did extensive research and comparisons of many different different backup generators for my home, from small to large permanent installations. This unit will run off gas or propane, which might be a big deal when it matters. Push button or remote start might be a big plus for those that won't like to tug on a rope. If I have to go outside to set it up, I'm already going to be wet or cold either way, but it's cool. 12500 peak watts is a big deal as the built in inverter so I don't have to worry about plugging in electronics (cell phones, laptops, etc.) With this unit, I also bought a 25' long 30-amp , 250v power chord transfer switch (L14-30P) and a transfer switch (Tt-40 RV 30amp to L14-30P) as well as a “generator through the walk” transfer kit (WKPBN30) ( these three things give me a long extension cord designed to set the generator away from the house and I plug it into outside wall at the transfer box. Then I will have an 6 plug outlet inside the home. This is the perfect setup for the not so perfect storm that I hope I don't have to use. I'ma contractor and buy a lot of generators for my guys (wholesale from another vendor) but this product is unique for its intended use and the price is absolutely right. Definitely a nice rig. You should be able to search the product numbers I listed above and get yourself ready. The transfer box is ready to install if you can drill holes.

    Looks good, however, minor concerns
Received product three October 2021. Everything looked good except for dents on the outer protective metal framing (Roll cage). Assuming the damages were acquired during storage or transportation. I also observed the fuel gauge doesn't seem to register how much fuel added to the tank. I observed no damage, gouges or scratches on vital parts of the generator or any parts missing. In my first test run of the generator, everything seems to be operating correctly however I did not connect anything to the generator to power as of yet. I will test that tomorrow. Attached are the dents to the outer protective metal framing roll cage.

    Great Features
Looking for a portable generator that supports Dual fuel, remote start and 50amp power inlet and it has everything. Didn't run for long time, just for few mins since purchasing and it was great. Had an electrician installed Power Inlet & Generator Interlock kits to feed the power back into breaker.

Dual Fuel with user friendly features
I liked the idea of a dual fuel generator, but was really pleased with the extras such as remote start and a multifunction display for engine hours, maintenance and other key information. Assembly was easy as well as understanding the controls. The generator started on the first attempt using the push button and then again with the remote. It also included the propane connection and a small tool kit. I'd give it 5 stars, but I'd like other handle options so it could be tilted like a hand truck/dolly. I'm also skeptical of the durability of the included wheels. I'll probably replace them with slightly larger diameter ones and new bolt feet in front to keep it level.

    WGen9500 portable generator
Having a back up generator is a must, especially if you live in an area where the power company may shut off power incase of wild fires. As I was looking for a generator, the Westinghouse Wgen9500 portable generator peaked my intestest. It had plenty of great reviews online and it's very simple to use. After I purchased mine, I had to install the wheels and mounting stand. Add oil and gasoline. Then I fired it up! I tested it out by running an industrial 24 inch fan, a 10,000 BTU portable AC and a 5,000 Lumin flood light. All of the items were plugged in and ran flawlessly. The generator had no issue running. I would say that the generator does get quite loud, however if the whole block is out, Im sure your neighbors would be doing the same by running their generators. The generator itself is very nice looking, and is fairly a good size that can be stored in a shed or inside of a garage without taking too much space. Overall, I have no complaints so far. This generator even has a push to start and wireless remote start. This review is coming from someone who has never owned or dealt with any other portable gas generators.

Great Generator - Lots of Power
We bought this generator after losing power three times within a two week period and it really saved us. It has lots of power, is easy to use and seems very well built. It arrived promptly and was very easy to assemble (my 16 year old daughter assembled it in about 15 minutes).
