Reliving my childhood
This really takes me back to when I was a kid playing this at the arcade! Kinda short in height but that's what the riser is for, it has 4 marvel games in it, 3 fighting games and one action game but if you're familiar with raspberry pi then you can update this bad boy with 1000s of old school arcade/console games!! By my uploaded pics you can guess what I did lol... I will be getting more of these arcade1ups for my mancave!

Reliving my childhood
This really takes me back to when I was a kid playing this at the arcade! Kinda short in height but that's what the riser is for, it has 4 marvel games in it, 3 fighting games and one action game but if you're familiar with raspberry pi then you can update this bad boy with 1000s of old school arcade/console games!! By my uploaded pics you can guess what I did lol... I will be getting more of these arcade1ups for my mancave!

It took the two of us to build it and he loves it immensely. It's not as large as a standard arcade cabinet, but it's still large enough for two people to play on simultaneously. You can also connect to wifi and compete against other players. It is light enough to move around with assistance. It is a fantastic value for the money.Bianca

It comes with the custom riser, light-up marquee (no deck light), and 4 games preloaded. It was fairly easy to put together and the artwork is beautiful. I wish the arcade sticks where better quality but you can always swap them out. They was another version of this cabinet with no riser or light-up marquee for $299.99.. so for $50 more for this one is a no brainier!Raul

Secondly, your other questions: Are the ports good? - Yep, flawless. I had XvSF for Sega Saturn and the MvK for Dreamcast. Loved them both and these ports(arcade ports) are stellar. As far as the SNES ported X-men: Mutant Apocalypse, it is a welcome great. I know people are complaining that it isn't an arcade game, but heck, it's fun and nostalgic. The side art is gorgeous. The light up marquee is beautiful. The nostalgia is worth it. I bought this for retail from Walmart($399.99) and regret nothing. I also see it is now $349.99. So what are you waiting for? Grab it before you are wallowing in your own tears this time next year for not pulling the trigger.Aaron

The online play works perfectly, though I wish more people wanted to play my favorite x-men coa, as that lobby never has more than one or two people in it. The competition is pretty steep but the local play is at the perfect level for average players. For someone who plays the games on Saturn and Dreamcast, these versions are more pixalized but I got used to it quickly. The programming has some quirks, like the loud intro screen when you turn it on, how it doesnt save local scores, and how it doesnt have difficult setting or handicaps like the console versions. The main issue is its just small, even with the riser. Im five nine and its a bit low, and I cant imagine playing comfortably with two adults. But what you lose is comfort you gain in a small footprint of space. Also, I may upgrade the buttons as they dont bounce up super fast and the joystick spins a bit. Also, avoid the stools from arcade 1 up, as I bought one separately. It looks great but its not comfortable. Overall, Im a very happy customer and with all of the characters on the three diverse fighters and the sweet side scroller, Ill be playing this for a very longtime.Brian
