The awning is mounted upside down in the cover, making the cover zipper on top instead of on the bottom, causing the bag to fill up with water when it rains and the awning to mold. I contacted the manufacturer who responded and asked for pictures which I sent, but after that quit responding. The awning is completely useless and I will be replacing it with a different brand.

    OK Starting point Needs Upgrading
    This is an inexpensive awning, that's why I bought it. The cover and actual awning material seems pretty good so far. Mounting brackets are junk....plan on fabricating something other than the supplied brackets if you don't want this thing to fall off. The sloted mounting rail is sufficient. You will need two people to set the awning up if you don't want to bend the channels that the outriggers swing out of. Once set up it is OK. I plan to replace the "E" channel with heavier aluminum channels as these are only 1mm aluminum as delivered.
