Cheap Quality
Broke the very first time I set it up. Finally got a chance to set this up and one of the side arm pins snapped right off when setting it up. Everything is made of very thin gauge aluminum and cheap plastic. Wish I hadnât cheaped out and just spent the money on an ARB awning â¹ï¸

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/05/2020Nice awning for priceFits our Promaster City van great. Easy to set up. We have had it up in wind and rain, has held up well. Ours is sewed correctly, unlike other reviewer, however we also have a larger side awning made by same manufacturer and zipper is sewed on upside of bag, allowing water to get in bag.Tamra

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/29/2020Not as advertisedawñing is not the size advertised. it's only 7'-7" wide which would be ok but the awning room I purchased is 8'-2" wide. does not fit ARB awning room. other than that it seems to be ok.David

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/06/2020So-So--requires some DIY to make it goodThe awning is very nice when it is up and installed. The installation was easy, although I would recommend installing the awning as close to the car as you can (the instructions have it further out from the car). Even with the awning installed as close as possible, it leaves a gap between the side of the car and the awning where rain can run down. I have devised a way to flip back the outer casing of the awning and attach it to my roof carrier with carabiners and clips so that the rain cannot get in. The real issue is that the awning is very difficult to put up by yourself, and I have had to DIY some parts of it to make that part of it manageable. If you want to install it on your own, you first unravel it, then put up one corner with the supporting rope in place. Then you do the other corner. Then you pull out the long, side bars. If you try to pull out the side bars before securing the corners with the ropes, like the instructions say, it will bend the aluminum frame that is holding the awning to the car. I have had to use my own bolts and nuts to devise a means to permanently attach the supporting ropes to the corners of the awning. The supporting ropes themselves also work much better if you just use an adjustable suspension knot to keep them tight, since the mechanism that they give to keep them tight does not work. I will get quicker as I use it, but right now, it is an awkward hassle to put it up and take it down. It is very nice when it is up, however, and the installation was a breeze. I still sort of wish I had spent the extra money and bought the Rhino Rack awning.Margaret

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/06/2020No criticism only advice for buyers. PerfectGreat price great value. I recommend taking the money saved and purchasing a high quality roof rack / basket and upgrade the mounting hardware to fake the “expensive “ look. I have no complaints I use it as a cover for my trade work and the only thing it can't handle is wind. It's a sail , tie it down before you let go of the uprights so that the wind doesn't take it before you secure it. It weighs nothingAnthony

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/31/20192nd onThis is the second awning I bought. The first was amazing. If used for just shade it works great. Unfortunately went hiking and it started to downpour the awning itself could not withstand the weight of the rain and ripped off my van. For those that say the materials are cheap I think that says a lot that the legs held up while the fabric ripped. Unfortunately when I ordered the replacement I got one with the zipper upside down as well. I donât see any way to contact the company and itâs been after 30 days so I cannot make a return. If anyone from the company sees this please contact me.Sonny
