Great TV
Wow, I can't believe this TV is as great as it is! The size is good, the picture quality is bright and clear. It has lots of features with the Roku system. Once you connect it to your home wifi the program selection is wonderful. Definitely considering buying one for the bedroom, can't beat the price.

Good Picture, Terrible Sound!
After receiving the new Onn 40 inch (39.5”) 1080P Roku smart LED TV I decided to removed an older 39” TV in my bedroom and install it in its place. I like watching TV as I fall asleep and mainly stream movies and TV shows over the internet, so this would be a great spot for it. This TV is much lighter that the older TV and comes with 3-HDMI inputs, 1-USB 2.0, 1-3.5mm headphone jack (or speaker), 1-antenna/cable input, 1-set of RCA audio/video inputs and a digital audio input. I could not wait to go to bed to try out the new TV. It was pretty straight forward to mount the TV onto the wall mount that I already had in the bedroom and run through the setup process and I was up and running. The first thing I noticed is that this TV is set up likes a phone or tablet with all the different apps on the home screen. Even an app to watch over the air TV shows or cable, but I guess that's the Roku way of doing things. Over all it has a very good picture and is easy to navigate and find lots of things to watch. It streams through Wi-Fi and does not have an Ethernet connection. They also have an app for your phone so you can control the TV from it also. Now for the bad: the remote has the volume and mute buttons on the side and I found myself always muting it or changing the volume EVERY time I picked up the remote until I finally replaced it with a universal remote for Roku TV's. Then there was the sound! Just like most TV's sold these days you will need to add a sound bar or a set of speakers in order to enjoy the shows. The speakers have no low bass at all and found myself turning it all the way up in order to understand what was being said. You can hook a digital cable up and use the TV speakers also, but if you plug something into the 3.5mm jack it cuts of the internal speakers. Good luck

    Great Fit TV
I received the ONN. 40" Class FHD (1080P) Roku LED TV. a couple weeks ago. I've had a fair amount of time test it out and it does the job. My daughter wanted a TV to stream her favorite shows when she wanted to watch them not when the TV was free in the family room. I installed it on the wall in her bedroom so this was a good size. Not a huge visual distraction. TVs keep getting bigger and bigger but lighter and lighter as well. This ONN TV was definitely light in weight right out of the box. It may be the lightest 40 inch TV that I have ever lifted. The TV mounting was very easy as I didn't strain my arms holding the television. I was impressed with the finish. It didn't look cheaply made. All black finish. I like that the screen isn't super glossy. I think that's important because who wants a big glare or reflection while your trying to enjoy a show. Having Roku built in to the TV is a plus! The remote is easy to use and the guide is simple. Connection to your home Wi-Fi is simple and I like that about newer TVs today. The TV comes with 3 HDMI ports which is enough for a kids room but I've learned 5-6 would be much better with all the devices that require HDMI ports. The clarity and black levels are good. Of course it usually cost a lot more to great to superb video but the price point for this TV is fair. I would recommend this television as an inexpensive option for a kids room without hesitation. It's a nice TV.

    Great tv
This Onn tv has Roku built in, so you can stream through all the apps available. There are so many apps to choose from. It comes with a remote and simple set up directions. Overall the picture and sound quality is good and I have no complaints. I was able to add all the app channels like abcnews, cbs, hbo, Netflix, hulu, etc. I even got access to some international channel apps that I didn't know about. This tv is perfect for streamers. No need for cable or antenna, although you can use them with this tv.

    Very crisp and clear display
I have a really small tv in my bedroom and it seems like my eye sight is deteriorating. It is so inconvenient to have to wear glasses, so instead, I have decided to get a bigger tv! I got the onn. 40 Class FHD (1080P) Roku LED TV. One big thing I would like for my new tv to have is smart feature. We all live in the day and age where a smart tv is just so much more convenient! Although I have cable, I also have subscriptions to hulu and Netflix and I want to make sure I can make the most use of it. I was not able to watch hulu and Netflix on my old bedroom tv, so I am super excited to be able to access it in bed now! Set up was very easy, didn't take long at all because all my wires are already set up. I just had to unplug from my old tv and plug it into the new one. This tv has 1 usb and 3 HDMI inputs. I know this is only a 40” tv, but I do wish it had 2 usb. It would make it a little more convenient. Display was very crisp and clear. Sound is very nice. Streaming is very smooth as well. The only thing I did not account for is the stand. The 2 piece stands are about 28” apart, so make sure the surface area that you're placing the tv is longer than 28”. My old tv had the stand right in the middle of the tv, so the table I had it on wasn't a problem, but with the new tv, I will have to go shop for a new table now.

    Truly lovely television!
This 40" ROKU Smart Television is such a lovely product. The box it arrived in, had a remote with two batteries, and also the two legs I attached myself. There was a small package containing the four screws. It was easy to attach the legs. The box also contained a small leaflet to better help you during the set up. I am not very knowledgeable about hooking up cable cords, or new televisions. However, I did have it set up within a thirty minute window. That's not bad! This television has the capability to stream live to your mobile phone, if your phone has that option. This television has a black 'frame' and it looks very sleek. For providing my honest thoughts and response to this lovely television, I was able to keep the product. I am a member of the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program.

    40" onn. roku tv
This is a nice tv, set up as roku and you add the apps you want. It also has a few apps you can connect your cable/satellite to which is nice. Volume is the main issue here, you can go into settings and set volume for normal, level or night. I set mine at level so when one minute its at normal range and goes to, to low or to loud it won't happen. There is no volume control on the remote. Huge disappointment the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. You have to go to the tv to turn up or down the volume. This tv has several hdmi connections as well as cable, has a headphone connection as well. The tv doesn't have usb connections though. The color is really nice, matches our Vizio, and no issues w/the speakers the volume on it works fine. Overall it is a nice tv but putting the volume controls on the remote control should be added to this set up.

    Nice TV
Out of the box, all you do is screw the feet on, and plug everything in that you use. I have an antenna, a soundbar, and a video system. Plug the TV and it walks you through the setup. First, connect to the internet. I already cut the cord and have Roku devices in the house so my account is set up and ready to connect. You go to the Roku webpage and either set up an account or log in and answer a few questions, pick your channel lineup, It does remember the channels you already have associated to your account and then wait a few minutes while the TV downloads those channels, then you scan for channels on the antenna if needed. It's very easy to set up. The picture quality is excellent and the sound is very clear and loud. I want to use my soundbar but can't get it to work with this TV. I was able to connect my DVD player with no problems. There are not many plug-in ports on the back. I paired my laptop to it and can facebook on the big screen that's pretty cool. I like it I recommend this TV
