Bought this for my brother he wanted something to use for the internet. He said very easy to set up, battery life is fine and pretty fast.

    Gateway Tablet
It arrived before it was scheduled, which I appreciated. I was able to get it connected easily enough the first time, but have not been able to connect to my wi-fi since then. I've even tried plugging it into the router, but that didn't help either. Keeps saying its not in range. Not sure what else to do.

It's a 50/50 shot depending on what you need...
We bought 2 tablets: 1 black and 1 blue (1 for each child). The black one works well, mounted the memory expansion without issue, and is pretty fast - but the battery is horrid. The blue one sees the memory expansion but won't format or mount it, stalls and is very slow but the battery life is AMAZING. We limit tablet time so battery life is easily managed, but slow response and lack of expandable memory is a problem for our special needs son.

This tablet is terrible. You get what you pay for I guess. It is very slow. Takes a long time to open apps.

    Gateway Tablet Waste Of $$
I bought a Gateway tablet in December, 2020, it's now June 2021, the tablet stopped working! I thought it was the battery being drained, bought two chargers, couldn't get a connection to recharge the battery. So now, I have a black screen, new charger and it won't connect. Wish I kept my receipt to return the tablet for a refund.

Good but not great. For $100 its good enough.
This purchase was for a tablet I needed to do 1 task. Access a Facebook live stream setting via a browser. In this regard, for my purpose, it works great. But in other regards unit has some quirky aspects - like in vertical viewing, the volume bottoms are on the bottom. When I rotate the tablet, the images stays upside down. Camera resolution is low compared to everything else on the market. Gets a little warmer than I would expect after an hour of constant use. But for the price, to access the net, it works fine.

    It is good, Good size.
I bought for my 1 and 4 year old for Christmas and it is a nice size. I thought a 7 inch would be too small but I would have to get a 7 inch for my 1 year old. The tablet has a little weight due to the battery and can get a little hot. The pictures/video sometimes take a minute to focus to be sharp and also, the sound is "okay" could have been better. But it will duenfor now .It comes with some earbuds.

    Not worth your time.
About the only good thing about this tablet is the price. But the software, pared down as it is, STILL just overwhelms the hardware as soon as you start it up. L A G is the name of the game here. I haven't used a kindle fire or anything, but I think that is a comparable device at the same price point. I would say, however, that this particular Gateway tablet is not worth the money you pay for it. Too bad, because I really had my hopes up.
