Great Value and Honest Labeling
This is a high quality olive oil. There's been a lot of controversy, of late, about the labeling of olive oils. Some companies mix lower quality oils and label them extra virgin. California Olive Ranch is noted for being honest in their descriptions and labeling. This has been my go-to oil for years, and Walmart seems to have the best prices.

Received expired product
I received this item. I used it for the first time and thought it tasted bad. I checked the date, and it had expired in January of 2020 - close to 18 months after I ordered it!

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/08/2021Reliable kitchen stapleI've been using this brand in my kitchen for years, riding out at least one marketing label change. It's a workhorse, good for sauteing and dressing salads and bean soups. I find it yummy and smooth, almost buttery but with a little bit of a robust edge. I even grab it when recipes like cornbread call for vegetable oil.Katherine

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/13/2021One of my favorite olive oils.I've tried many different brands of olive oils and the California Olive Ranch brand is one of my two favorites. I wasn't familiar with the "global blend extra virgin" only "extra virgin" and I can't tell in difference. The taste is mild and perfect for dressing salad, dipping bread, sauteing vegetables, etc. This comes in a glass bottle which I prefer.LDMc

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/05/2017Real Olive OilI love it! I usually get the cheap olive oil, which from what I am learning, isn't "pure olive oil". There was definitely a difference when using this olive oil. I will definitely get it again!Raae

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/24/2017California Olive Ranch “Everyday”The United States imports more olive oil than any other country, and yet regulations on the labeling of said oil are voluntary. When it comes to olive oil, tests reveal anywhere from 60 to 90 percent of the olive oils sold in American grocery stores and restaurants are adulterated with cheap, oxidized, omega-6 vegetable oils, such as sunflower oil or peanut oil, or non-human grade olive oils, which are harmful to health in a number of ways. The California Olive Ranch olive oil is grown, milled, bottled, and shipped from California. All of their extra virgin olive oils are certified extra virgin by the California Olive Oil Council (COOC). They use environmental sustainable farming practices. They have an integrated pest management system, first using pheromone attractant traps to catch any olive fruit flies, as well as placing owl boxes in orchards. Only when absolutely necessary, do they use a direct spray method of applying pesticides. They test oils every year for residual pesticides. The California Olive Ranch produces several ‘award winning' single variety olive oils. “Everyday” is a blend of 3 varieties, allowing it to be the company's least expensive Extra Virgin Olive Oil. California Olive Ranch “Everyday” is an excellent choice as an ‘affordable' good quality olive oil for general use.PowerWizard

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/19/2016Best of the bestI've tried and used dozens of oils for my salads but this one is, in my opinion, the very best. The only con I find is that there is no pour spout like other oils have.K9sasha
