Gambled and Won!
Took a chance on an open box item. Pleasantly surprised! Looked like a brand new item, just extra tape on the box. All accessories were still in original packaging and TV was in perfect condition. Could not be happier and will definitely check BeachCamera.com for my next purchase of anything electronic. #sweepstakes

Defective Unit, Dishonest Company
Terrible experience. Like others have said, my unit had dirty screen effect. During movies, shows, even on the startup menu, I could see a quarter sized smudge on the left side of my screen. Became increasingly distracting. Retailer replaced it with a unit a week after purchase that had the same dark spot in the same location. Samsung sent repair techs who said they saw the problem, but when they "fixed" it the problem was still there and worse in other areas, which they admitted. Samsung sent out the same repair guys again, who this time claimed they couldn't see it anymore. That's called lying. Due to their report of "no defect found", Samsung eventually (after two months) sent an entirely new unit, which had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. Repair guys came out again, made fun of me, and reported "no defect found" again, and now Samsung says they won't do anything anymore. I asked for a refund, but they said they replaced it already so they won't refund, but they never offered a refund initially as an option. I have documented proof that Samsung, and their contracted repair company, have lied and misled me, dragging the whole process out over four months now, only to change their mind on what they originally told me was a problem they would fix. They have contradicted themselves repeatedly. I am now unable to return it, and Samsung told me "maybe you're the problem, not the TV." And yet, others I've showed the TV to can see the problem. If Samsung had been honest upfront, I would've returned it ASAP. Samsung has lost all credibility, and I encourage everyone to be careful buying products from them.

The picture is great for all content: SD, HD, 4K, SDR, and HDR. It's placed in a bright room, but the TV handles reflections so well that it's not an issue. We also bought a Samsung soundbar so that we could utilize Q-Symphony, my wife and kids are amazed at how immersive the sound is. #sweepstakesDerangeddirector

Held my breath and had a great big exhale when it arrived and was exactly what I wanted. The box had been re-taped, but other than that, it was like a brand new item. We upgraded from an older 55" Samsung TV that I got during a Black Friday deal years ago. The older TV was 4K but it didn't do 4K like this TV does! The brightness and clarity of this TV are really out of this world and don't compare to anything else I've owned. I think the best thing about it though is the extra wide viewing angles. I can be standing completely to the side of the TV and still see everything that is happening on the screen. The smart features are nice as well since I am able to connect it to our Alexa devices and use Alexa to turn it on, change the channel, volume, etc. #sweepstakesAustin
