You can’t go wrong at $158!
This is a really good smart tv for $158! It doesn’t overwhelm my living room, yet I can watch it from the kitchen easily. The delivery took three days, and it arrived in perfect condition. I figure these are all made in the same factory anyway.

Awful TV
Got this TV for a room that we dont use often. After a few months, the TV started to have a line at the bottom cutting the view of the screen in half. It must have been dropped. But since I threw the box away, I did not return TV

    Not happy!
    I set this tv up in March, 2023. Have had line from top to bottom in middle of screen for over week now. Have been told seller would be in contact with me at least two times…nothing!!! Click on contact seller…doesn't open…I think since I only have has 3 months Walmart needs to send me another tv free of cost..this is third Hisense I have bought from WM….please do the right thing and quit ignoring my request

    I bought this tv thinking the screen would be a bit bigger but i get use after to the size now. This tv has good quality, works perfectly, have a few glitches here but otherwise

    The Hisense 40” Roku Smart TV is AMAZING! Not only is the picture crystal clear, the audio on it is SO amazing, compared to the standard Roku TV! It was a great price too (same price as the 32” Roku TV)! I highly recommend!

    Received my tv a couple days ago, opened the box and set it up. Noticed the sides of the screen looked kind of weird, but I figured it was the sticker, no biggie. Go to peel it off and it’s the SCREEN. Tv wouldn’t turn on, I ended up taking it back for a refund.

    the price looks good but dont do it .
    1st problem is from the factory. there is so much tape on the screen you rish damaging the screen pulling it off . you can even see that it puts pressure on the screen. if you successfully make ot through all the tape without damaging the tv works well for streaming but took an hour to get my Xfinity cable connected. when it was finally connected watched a. football game.. it was. fuzzy and not clear. After 3 hours of troubleshooting I returned the TV. left the store woth a 50 inch same brand. and that one had more problems than the 40in. there were funky rings on the screen.. and it was a pain to connect to Xfinity too. well i exchanged that 50 in for a different one. 3rd tv, 3rd trip to the store and IT HAD THE SAME RINGS ON IT!!! and picture from cable still funny.. idk what the deal is.. i have a 65in Hisense from 5 years ago that is great.. quality control has just gone way down.

    Nice features but not True 2K
    This TV is NOT true 2K, The max resolution is 1920x1080 making it 1080p! I like the features of the TV but am very disappointed that it is not 2K as advertised. True 2K resolution is 2048x1080. I have attached a picture of the spec sheet from the Hisense website showing that it is only 1080p.

    Television went out in 7 months never been DAMAGED
    I bought this TV in feb.28 and today it decided the screen wanted to go out the TV never had been dropped or anything it's on my dresser and the sound is working just not the screen it came with a dot on the screen and it worked as if it was alright but it. Won't show anything and I'm upset 200 down the drain

    Could be better
    TV arrived quickly and has a clear picture and is a good price. That being said the TV I received it was someone defective where the screen and the TV surrounding case or frame connect. There must have been some kind of a manufacturing defect because it doesn't meet cleanly and looks kind of bad. Whenever the TV is on that you can see light shining out around the edges and it's distracting when you try to watch the TV. I had already thrown out the box I would have returned it for another

    The visual is great, but the audio is awful.
    The visual is great and its a nice size but the audio is awful especially when it comes to playing movies on a DVD. With that size i expect great audio.

    If you like lines on your screen ...
    I only had this TV for 9 months, when black and discolored lines appeared on the screen from top to bottom, for no reason. Contacted Hisense about issue and got zero response for help. Decided to go with another more reliable brand. I would recommend avoiding Hisense; after this experience, trusting them makes No Sense.

    Screen died quickly
    In less than three months, the screen went on the TV and dealing with the Hisense and the manufacturer warranty has been very difficult. Avoid Hisense and this TV.

    Great for the price!
    For a budget TV it's great! The Roku app in it runs smoothly with no lag or locking and has a good yet simple to use UI. The sound on it is actually really good for being stock and standard speakers. Picture is decent for a 2k television with lots of presets plus customization. Also has a game mode that reduces input lag. Overall it's a pretty good tv.

    Great image, sound and quality love my purchase received my tv today and is great used it without my cable box for a while and all the apps and channels that it offers are amazing I would recommend this to anyone who wants a reasonable size tv with great image for a great price I'm just thrilled with my tv it fits my dresser and I can see what I'm watching from a distance this is a 40”

    Not a good quality tv
    This is my 2nd only because my boiz bought it for me for Christmas, the 1st 1 we had the screen went black. this is not a good TV I wish they could get their money back.
