3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/13/2021Sun-Maid Sundried California RaisinsGood price but inside white seal was pulled back and outside seal came off easy. Wondered if someone had helped themselves to some raisins.Patricia

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/31/2021Good for a handful or a sandwich.I always keep a big box of Sun-Maid raisins in my cabinet; great for peanut butter and raisin sandwiches, and I also add them to cottage cheese/fruit cocktail salads. Don't keep them in the refrigerator because it will dry them out; they keep well in the cabinet.Bettie

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/26/2021Sweet chewy comfort food - Sun-Maid - always goodI grew up eating Sun-Maid raisins - they're sweet to snack on and great to bake with. Never really thought about them much, I mean, raisins are raisins, right? So I tried a generic brand (at a different discount store). Wow, what a disappointment. I didn't know raisins could be so tough, almost hard. Not good. I thought I could at least cook with them, but something in the flavor was just... off. I even soaked some in rum - but that was just sad. So the rest of that package went right out the door and back to nature. So, if you want to feed the birdsPatricia

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/26/2020Grew up with it. Still the same quality as beforeWhat else can I say? I grew up with this product and now that I'm older, my nephews and nieces are enjoying the same brand, same taste and same quality. The price is decent. I always buy brand that I trust for quality. I do try some other brands from time to time but I always come back to Sun-Maid California raisins.Homemaker

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/03/2020This is why some people don't like raisinsThis box is a little over a pound. It's unlined -- the raisins touch the cardboard. And the cardboard is hardly airtight. I once ordered Sun-Maid's huuuuge 4 lbs box of raisins. They were packed in two two-pound foil resealable bags. Those raisins were plump and big and fresh, like I never tasted raisins before. But, packed in a 22 oz cardboard box without any additional lining, these raisins were small and hard and they don't taste so good. Raisins have a lot of sugar. And I thought 22 oz would be more moderate. But next time, I'm going for the 4 lb box, again.JustPlain

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/31/2020Fresher tasing than most, and very healthtySun-Maid Raisins have always been a staple in our home. Even my parents, and their parents used Sun Maid as far back as I can recall. I use them for turkey and chicken stuffing, in salads, and whenever I feel like a snack. Both my husband and myself eat Sun Maid Raisins because of their natural potassium content. Especially during extra warm weather, due to the loss of potassium when working outside and sweating. It's much healthier and natural for potassium to come from foods, rather then the measured amounts of pills.leahanna412003

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/18/2020Container half empty and the lid is loose. The container is half empty because the raisins settle and all stick together. The container is a rectangular cylinder. It should be a round cylinder. The rectangular shape causes the lid to fall off easily. Customers like me shake the container to separate the raisins, which stick together inevitably. The loose cover comes off and raisins fly everywhere.Unknown

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/19/2020Ruined my food by an idiot when packing the itemsThe one star has nothing to do with the raisins quality....they are fine. I just can not figure out what fool would have put laundry powder in the same box with food items. The laundry powder smashed the raisins open and filled them with the powder. You would think they would have a little more sense than an earth worm. On the positive side the order got here lightning fast!!!!! beats other online sellers.ArizonaKid

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/03/2020Sun-Maid raisins are the best!I've been enjoying Sun-Maid raisins for more than 3/4 of a century. I've had other brands but Sun-Maid is a standout for both quality and consistency over the years. The canister is custom-made for serious raisin lovers and keeps the raisins' moist freshness intact. I also like its rectangular shape with rounded corners both for handling and storing in the pantry. Sun-Maid raisins also make a delicious addition to cooked dishes, baked goods and salads. Additionally, I can't begin to count the number of pounds of Sun-Maid raisins I've consumed over the years simply out-of-hand, the way I was first introduced to these sweet and tasty morsels as a baby. Later on, my own children learned to love them as much as I do and have made Sun-Maid raisin lovers of my grandchildren as well.NYC88
