Buyer beware - this is a glorified toy.
I ordered this from Walmart's Black Friday sale in November and didn't receive it until a month later. I thought this was a steal because of the sale. I was excited to use it and prove that I got a deal. So, I brought it outside, fully charged during the first snowfall here in Toronto, it immediately shut down and didn't turn back on. So I'm back to the tried and true shovel. Well, you get what you pay for, right? This is a lemon.

    it worked threw snow great the first couple of times although the shoot didn't work very well i went to start it the 3rd or 4th time and it wouldn't start.

    Lasted 30 minutes then died
    We assembled the snowblower and charged the battery. The snowblower started normally and worked well for 30 minutes. It stopped blowing snow unexpectedly and never started again. We contacted Snow Joe and we were placed on a notification list for when a replacement unit will be available. If it worked it would be great - light easy to use and moved a reasonable amount of snow.

    (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I unpacked the unit and put it together,charged the battery,(all included) and started it up everything works except I purchased it when there is no snow so can't test the removal part.Looks to be of good quality .

    DOA two times
    Arrived DOA. Light and chute worked but the motor didn't. No matter how many times I tried to start it up. Got a replacement and the replacement worked for 2o minutes then stopped while blowing some snow never to start again. Definitely not recommended.

    The unit quit 2nd time and wouldn't restart
    Worked ok the first time for about 30 min. It quit 30 seconds into using it the second time. Battery was fully charged and showed 3 fully green lights. No idea why. So I returned it to a Walmart store. Customer service rep was awesome and said she has seen this before with snow Joe blowers. I bought a toro instead

    Stopped working from first use
    Stopped working after 10 minutes from first use. I'll return it asap. Snow deflector and led lights work but the engine won't start even if the battery is fully charged. Use it for 10 minutes on a fluffy layer of snow, but it stopped blowing snow after 10 minutes or so. I was so disappointed!!

    Very Disappointed
    I got the snow Joe and I was very excited as it had just snowed like crazy and I was relieved that I have got help now. I charged the battery overnight and next morning my husband took it out to try it out. But the darn thing won't even start so I had to return it the very next day without even enjoying it for even a day. Very disappointed and scared to buy the same one now because I would hate to go through the same experience again.
