I found the view to be clear. I was disappointed that the light for the compass didn't work. I also found the owner's manual useless.

    Bushnell 7 X 50 Marine Binoculars
    Bought these to replace 7 X 35 light weight Bushnell field binocs that broke when they were tossed from helm in rough seas and fell 6' to lower cabin sole. They are heavier than compact Steiner marine binoculars, but at 1/3 the price they are fine, are waterproof, have integral lighted compass and manufacturer claims they will float if they hit the drink. Easy to use with or without glasses on. Just completed 12 hour delivery and wore these almost the entire time on watch without much discomfort or fatigue. Recommend a padded neck strap.

    Very well liked
    WE ordered one for our daughter, and enjoyed them so much, we ordered a second pair for ourselves. We spend time in the everglades and along the gulf coast. Great buy
