Loud
The steel grating on the one I purchased the spot welds were broken in some spots. And the grating is wavy in certain areas of the floor if you move around the grating Springs down and then pops back up making a VERYLOUD Banging sound like hitting one of the legs with a hammer I will probably have to deck the floor to remedy this problem Knowing what I know now I probly could have built the same thing out of wood in the time assembly took alot cheaper

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/16/2016good for the priceI've used this for a whole season. This is what I did. I bought 2 horse mats and cut them to fit on the grating . I have no sound issues. It is a little wobbly but not that bad. Will add some extra bracing before next year. Looking to buy another one. I'll probably get a sheet of marine plywood and outdoor carpet , the horse mat is extremely hard to cut. For the price, it's worth it!!Ohiohunter

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/16/20153 starsStand is pretty dangerous. Got it put together and as i was trying to put the blind cover on i almost fell off of the stand. Obviously there is no walls or rails. It is pretty loud when you get in it and put weight on the floor. Says 500lbs limit, if you weigh over 250 dont even try because the door is SMALL. I weigh 220lbs and its almost a struggle. Not a lot of room for a chair, you have to be able to open the door so you cannot have a big chair on the way. If you want a bigger chair make sure to put it on the platform before you attach a blind because you will not get anything through the door.AlaskanYoung

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/13/2015Good price for a platformEasy assembly (cordless drill and socket). Partially assembled it is transportable and fairly quick to erect in the field. It is noisy on the platform so I used a can of spray on bedliner to dampen the noise. Some old carpet laid across it would probably lessen the noise also or better.JeeperinAda

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/08/2015Easy set upI've bought two platforms and it took about two hours to set one up. Easy to put together and easy to put in place. Plenty of room on the platform and very versatile.Shooter101

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/12/2015GREAT VALUEI have purchased 3 of these platforms so far. I also have several other brands that cost up to $600. I find these Hunter's Pointe platforms perfectly acceptable for my needs. They are extremely easy to assemble. It does require two people but they all do. I like the fact that a 60 Inch foot print blind will fit. Blinds of this size allow for sufficient headroom for archery hunting. I covered the floor with indoor/outdoor carpeting to eliminate noise. I left a place for the floor doors to open and cut a piece to fit it when I am in the blind. I used 4 foot pieces of rebar bent on the ends to secure the platforms to the ground. These work well and I have not had an issue. Every platform I have ever purchased required staking to the ground for safety's sake. This is an economical platform that meets my needs perfectly. I have had deer within 10 yards of my platform/blind and they did not detect my movement or noise. Putting a soft material on the floor really helped.Avalon1

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/09/2015Can't think of one. This is the second review as I purchased two, one at a time, a few weeks apart. The first one was acceptable, the second one was purchased because the price was reduced. For the most part, they should work OK. Time will tell. However I reinforced the floor platforms as they had a weak, and noisey support system. Tack welds broken and cheap rib supports. I was not totally upset, as I reinforced them myself. If I needed/wanted a third platform, I would have no problem buying another one of these. The real test won't take place untill next October when I actually use these during the hunting season.George

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/04/2015Elevated platformI won't know how the platforn actually works untill October 2015. The only problem, I dsicovered so far is the floor mesh welded to the platform frame has cheap supports under it causing the floor mesh topop up and be noisey when you walk or sit on it.. Some of the spot welds are broken loose. I rebuit the frame to fix this problem and modified it to accomodate a Pop up blind, that some people call a dog house. The price was reasonable enough, that it was not a serious problem that I overcame. I also have a similar raised platform made by Ameristep that I purchased from you, that has a better floor design, however the side braces are a poorer design. Overall, I am not unhappy with either products.Hdman
