Happy so far.
I ordered this as a gift for my children. For others like me who don’t know a lot about Xbox, this one is a smaller one. If you want to be able to have several games downloaded on the system at once, you might be better off buying the system with larger storage or buying extra storage for this one. Also, if you are looking at this for a Christmas gift, you might want to set it up so to speak before wrapping it up. The system needs updates (I found out by reading reviews) and a lot of games need updates before they can be played. Depending on your internet connection, this can take some time to download. The updates can be pretty big, which is why you may want to consider extra storage if you want a lot of games on the system at a time. Also, there was a code that came with it for 14 day’s free of XBox Live. If you want Xbox Live beyond that, you have to subscribe. For my personal experience, the system was pretty easy to set up and navigate. It took a while to download the updates to the system and the game I went ahead and installed. I would say an hour and half for both updates. All in all, this was a pretty good buy. Also, it only comes with one wireless controller.

    Beware of shady 3rd party sellers
    I purchased this item off Walmart.com in November as a Christmas gift. My daughter hooked it up to her TV on Christmas morning and it does not work. I contacted the third party seller who told me to contact Microsoft. Microsoft told me it would be 200.00 to fix the problem. Walmart will not issue a refund because its out of the window to return it, since it was through a 3rd party. So I am pretty much out of 335.00 which is what I paid for this item.. and an additional 200 for repairs. For an item that was Supposed to be brand new. And my child is out of a Christmas gift. I am convinced the seller knew the item was defective, and sold it anyway. Ive never been more angry in my life. Walmart. Com and the third party seller did nothing to fix the situation.

    More than I like or need for an old gamer
    Slow, needs to be on line to load games. Can't get to far in games without being on line. Controller big and bulky in hand and I have huge hands so I can only imagine anyone else. Controls are a little hard to get use to. Almost too much to consider on the controller.more than I like or need.

    Do not buy
    This device made a horrendous noise right out of the box. Microsoft wanted to charge $179 to service a brand new item. I had to return it... Walmarts service on the return was professional and helpful.

    This xbox is the best product i was kinda nervous because of the reviews but when i got it it was BRAND NEW and was not broken at all ive had it for 5 days and it works amazing 100 percent recommend this product
