Great Tetherball for a Bargain Price
Arrived quickly, actually ahead of schedule, received an email from my store ASAP...Of course the ball arrives flat but comes with the rope or "tether" attached & since it's been filled with air we've had NO problems with this ball! While the cover itself is "soft" it still kinda hurts to smack the ball but hey, that's what you get, right? Overall a great value & I see no reason to spend more for a backyard tetherball.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/21/2016Tetherball with soft touch coverI bought this as an activity for my border collie mix. She is extremely active and loves to play ball. I tied this to a tree branch hanging it low enough that she could play with it without being able to hold it and chew on it. She will play ball, jumping and bouncing it with her nose (soft touch cover) for quite a while. Also she and my grandson can play with it together.DMQ08

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/22/2013Softtouch? More like Hard Touch!I would have to say , words don't describe the item correctly. It is very hard ball. My kids looked like they were brutally beaten by The Ninja Turtles after they played with the ball.jcat11

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/07/2013Great product- the kids love itThe only think missing is a hook mechanism to make it easy to attach to the park tether pole. Found a carabeen (sp) and that seems to work. The ball is soft and bright. Great outdoor toy for the whole neighborhood. Amazing how many kids come to the tetherball court once a game gets going.CDATraders

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/14/2009No Directions Come With ItI would recommend it for people who don't need any directions or instructions of any kind. The ball, of course, arrives flat and you have to blow it up, so it would be nice if it came with a little hand pump. I had to go out and buy one. Then, I had to hang it up on the pole I installed outside and I don't know how to tie rope, or do slip knots and such, so tieing the ball up to the post using a simple knot doesn't keep it up. I would like to know how to tie it so that it stays. But, bottom line, it's being used by my 9 year old and it was cheap. How much more can we ask for? With no directions for installing/using the tetherball, I went ahead and cemented an 8' tall metal fence post (1 5/8"). It really should have a 10' post. The 8' is too short after being cemented 1 1/2' in the ground.GrandPJ
