Tips for Buying a Major Appliance

To help avoid returns and/or restocking fees, use these tips when buying a major appliance:

1. Research your options.
2. Measure the space to ensure fit.
3. Make sure the space has the right utilities, voltage, and plug type for your appliance.
4. Buy any necessary accessories for installation/use (E.g., hoses, plugs, vents, etc.).
5. Share any special delivery instructions with the delivery carrier (if necessary).
6. Develop a plan to assemble and install the item.

Accepting a Major Appliance Delivery

Before accepting delivery, inspect your appliance for defects/damage when it arrives.

• If any exist, please notify the driver, ask for options, and/or refuse the delivery.
• Discounts for defects/damage are at the MP seller’s discretion, so we recommend refusing delivery to avoid further complications.

Returns and Refunds

The customer may return a major appliance for a full refund within two days of accepting delivery. Start the return in the Daily Saves app or at dailysavesonline.com/returns. Major appliances aren’t returnable to Daily Saves stores.

Unopened appliances

These are unopened, undamaged, and uninstalled appliances in original factory sealed packaging. Customers can return these items to the seller within 30 days of accepting delivery in the original manufacturer packaging, but they are subject to an up to 20% restocking fee after the two-day time frame.

Opened/installed appliances

These are appliances where the customer (not the carrier) broke the factory seal or opened the product. Exchanges and refunds after the two-day time frame are at the seller’s discretion. If the seller denies the exchange or refund, refer to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Exceptions

• The customer can return small appliances and dorm size and wine refrigerators within 90 days if sold in the store or fulfilled by Walmart. Customers can return them within 30 days of delivery if sold on Daily Saves MP.
• Any custom or made-to-order items cannot be returned for refund or exchange.
